Former soap star, Tom Pelphrey has booked a role in Netflix’s upcoming film called Mank.
The upcoming flick is based on a screenplay by Howard J. Fincher and follows the story of Hollywood screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz according to Deadline. It is about the tumultuous development of Orsen Wells’ Citizen Kane.
All My Children alum, Amanda Seyfried (ex-Joni) is a part of the cast along with Pelphrey (ex-Jonathan Randall, Guiding Light and ex-Mick Dante, As the World Turns), Charles Dance, Lily Collins, Arliss Howard, Ferdinand Kingsley, Tuppence Middleton, Gary Oldman, Tom Burke, Joseph Cross, Jamie McShane and Sam Troughton.
The film will be in black and white and production begins in November. Stay tuned for updates.
