It’s that time of year again! We are almost ready to crown the best soap opera of 2024, but first, Soap Opera News has whipped up a fabulous list of the top 10 male soap performers of 2024—plus a ton of honorary mentions! These talented actors have delivered performances so unforgettable that they’ve made us laugh, cry, and occasionally contemplate flinging our remotes at the TV (no judgment!). We also took into consideration how much airtime they got, the weight of their performances, and, of course, the sheer chaos they managed to conjure up on screen. Here are our top 10—now tell us, who would you have picked as your favorite male soap performer of 2024?

This was one of those tough categories! Yet, against all odds, we somehow narrowed it down to the top 10! Let’s give a hearty round of applause to everyone who managed to make the list this year! We can all agree (or at least the majority of us who aren’t in denial) that this was a Xander year, and boy, did Paul Telfer knock it out of the park! With a laser focus on Sarah’s hit-and-run, one of Days of our Lives’ most riveting plots for 2024—Telfer was right there, delivering performances so amazing that landed him as Soap Opera News’ favorite for 2024. He didn’t just steal the show; he snatched the number one spot—huge congrats, Paul!

And let’s not forget another one of favorites for this year, Tajh Bellow, who finally got to flex his acting chops in some seriously emotional material; he did not disappoint one bit! Plus, there’s Peter Bergman, the daytime veteran who’s been at it for decades as Jack Abbott—he never misses a beat! Congrats to all once more on making the list for 2024!
