Tricia Cast is back as Nina Webster on The Young and the Restless. Cast spoke with Soap Opera Digest about her return. She admits that she was hopeful for a call to return and reveal that she was originally brought back for the November 2 episode which honors Lauralee Bell’s 40th anniversary as Christine. She was also elated to learn that she will get to share scenes with her onscreen son, Conner Floyd. This is the first time that Floyd and Cast will share scenes since he took over the role of Chance. She told SOD, “What a great person and actor and co-worker Conner is. He just floors me. He’s really sweet and fun to work with and I think [the fans] will believe that we are mother and son.“
Cast currently resides in Tennessee but when she is in LA to work on Y&R, she stays at Bell’s house. Read the full interview here! (Photo: JPI)
