On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, Stage 31 at Television City Studios was the scene of a heartfelt, star-studded—and cupcake-filled—celebration honoring Don Diamont’s incredible 40-year anniversary in daytime television on CBS.

Hosted by The Bold and the Beautiful’s Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley Bell, the event brought together friends, co-stars, family, and industry legends to pay tribute to a man who has made power suits, plot twists, and that trademark smirk into an art form.

Yes, there were moving speeches. Yes, there were surprise guests. And yes—there were cupcakes with Don’s face on them. Those who took the stage to celebrate Don’s four-decade journey included: Casey Kasprzyk – B&B Supervising Producer, Bradley Bell, Heather Tom (Katie Logan), Beth Maitland (Traci Abbott), John McCook (Eric Forrester), Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer), Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester), Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott), Don’s Real-Life Sons – Luca, Lauren, Sasha, Zander, Anton, and Davis and Don Diamont himself.

Sharing a carousel of photos from the celebration, Don posted a message on his Instagram account:

“ard to express the depth of my gratitude for the last 40 years of my career in general, and for the beautiful event a few days ago celebrating my 40th Anniversary on CBS specifically. The sentiments expressed by ALL touched my soul, and I was blessed to have my family in attendance. Thank you doesn’t begin to articulate my feelings, but THANK YOU

He also gave heartfelt shout-outs to Bradley Bell, his co-stars, CBS, and fans who’ve followed his journey from Genoa City to Los Angeles.

Don Diamont: From Brad Carlton to Dollar Bill

Long before Don Diamont made power moves as B&B‘s Bill Spencer Jr., he debuted in the soap world as Carlo Forenza on Days of Our Lives in 1984. But it was his role as the charmingly ruthless Brad Carlton on The Young and the Restless—beginning in 1985—that truly launched him into daytime royalty. His time on the show came to ashocking end end in 2009.

That same year, B&B welcomed him with open arms as the iconic Dollar Bill Spencer. His first airdate was May 12, 2009.

Now, 16 years later on B&B and 40 years deep into a legendary daytime career, Diamont remains a fan favorite, and clearly, there’s still gas in the tank.

“It’s been quite a ride between @youngandrestlesscbs and @boldandbeautifulcbs—and we’re not done yet!” — Don Diamont
