Tabyana Ali, best known for playing Trina Robinson on General Hospital, gave fans a delightful dose of real-life humor on May 26th when she posted a video on Instagram chronicling her second day of learning how to drive. And boy, it was not your average behind-the-wheel session.
“I’m learning how to drive y’all!! Don’t worry, we were going 20MPH!! Pray for us!!” she wrote in the caption, while tagging her instructors Alecs Funky Fresh and her emotional support squad Priscilla Castro-Preciado and Latoya.
In the video, Tabyana kicks things off with a mix of confidence and chaos. “So today I’m trying to learn how to drive. This is day two of learning. So we got to go into this quiet.”
“No noise, lady,” she says as looks at her dog, clearly psyching herself up for greatness… or at least not hitting anything.

From quipping, “I like to push a little gas in there, put a little effort,” to wondering aloud, “Why did I hit this one?” the video is full of off-the-cuff commentary that only Tabyana could deliver.
At one point, after she cheerfully asks, “Is everybody feeling safe?” her support team chimes in with a concerned, “Ooh, you’re going to hit that man.”
Her blend of nervous energy and spontaneous commentary made the whole experience genuinely entertaining to watch. And while she may have had a few comedic detours, her support team assured her she did a good job behind the wheel. One thing for sure, she absolutely aced making her followers laugh. We did!
