Upcoming episodes might leave some fans scratching their heads, wondering what happened to Carly’s eye on General Hospital. Never fear! Portrayer Laura Wright hopped onto social media to reassure viewers that they’re not losing their marbles and it’s nothing to worry about.
On X (formerly Twitter), Wright wrote, “So the next couple days, you will see me doing my best to hide my eye. I woke up with a broken blood vessel – it was CRAZY looking from the wrong angle haaa. Just ask Charlie !! Ha.”
In a follow-up post, Laura Wright shared, “My eye is [100 percent] fine now!! Thank you all for asking. And a big thank you to our directors who helped me look up stage as much as possible.”
Some viewers may not even notice anything amiss, as evidenced when a similar situation arose with Adam Harrington (ex-John Cates), and many viewers were blissfully unaware. Fortunately, the directors excel in their craft, expertly utilizing camera angles and blocking techniques to masterfully keep everything under control and out of sight.
