The Young and the Restless alum, Alicia Coppola (ex-Dr. Meredith Gates) has a new gig. According to Deadline, Coppola has joined the cast of Empire in a recurring role. She is set to play the role of an attorney who is described as smart and flamboyant. Her character will investigate Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Damon (Wood Harris). Deadline reports, “She’ll do almost anything for big target convictions because she believes they’ll take her to the Governor’s mansion and then the White House.”
Coppola recently recurred on NCIS: Los Angeles. And, is also known to daytime soap fans for her role as Lorna Devon on Another World.
