Daytime fans can gear up to see The Young and the Restless’ Darnell Kirkwood (Jordan Wilde) and Days of Our Lives Alum Rachel Melvin (ex-Chelsea Brady) in a new holiday movie. “The Trouble with Mistletoe” in which both Melvin and Kirkwood play parts is set for a tentative release on November 24, 2017.
Kirkwood will play the role of Mason while Melvin will play the lead role of Willa Davis. The upcoming film is directed by Ashley Avis and written by Joany Kane and Jill Shalvis and follows the story of a San Francisco pet shop owner named Willa Davis. Willa encounters the man who stood her up in high school and fights her feelings when she starts falling for him all over again ten years later.
Other members of the cast include; Thomas Beaudoin, Flo Lawrence, Alexandra Weaver, Jordan Birkland and more. The film is produced by PassionsFlix. Fans can stay tuned to Soap Opera News for updates.
