Eric Braeden is not happy that the current longest-running cast member of The Young and the Restless, Doug Davidson (Paul Williams) was fired. Braeden has made it no secret how he feels about the actor’s status with the show. He weighed in yet again after the show’s Twitter account decided to kick off 2019 honoring the late Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor). When fans mentioned Doug, Braeden shared, “The treatment of DOUGIE DAVIDSON, the OLDEST member of our cast, was and is outrageous!! It’s STUPID!! If you want ratings you don’t get rid of A DEMONSTRABLY popular actor!!” What are your thoughts? Are you hoping with a new writing regime that Doug will return?
