It’s a sad day for many daytime fans of the beloved Jay Bontatibus who passed away on February 12, 2017 in Los Angeles after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family and friends. Bontatibus is well known for his many daytime roles which include; Tony on ‘The Young and the Restless, a role he played from 1998 – 2000, Rob on ‘Days of Our Lives’, which he played in 2008 and Andy on both ‘Port Charles’ and ‘General Hospital’ from 2002 – 2003.
He is also the ex-husband of Marnie Saitta who is a current casting director on Days of Our Lives. Our condolences go out to the family during this difficult time!
