Today, ‘The Young and the Restless’ actress Melody Thomas Scott [Nikki Newman] celebrates 32 years of marriage to producer Edward J. Scott. It was on the set of ‘Y&R’ where they met while Ed Scott was working as the show’s executive producer. The happy couple later got married on October 12, 1985 at their church and now celebrates 32 years of love and happiness.
Their union has brought forth three children; Jennifer, Alexandra Danielle Yeaggy and Elizabeth and two wonderful twins as grandchildren; James and Charlotte. Melody is well known to daytime viewers as Nikki Newman on the CBS daytime soap, a role she’s played from 1979 as a series regular. Ed, on the other hand, is known as an American soap producer who worked as a producer for Y&R, ‘Days of Our Lives’ and ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’.
