It’s Newman vs Newman vs Newman….again!

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has only been back in Genoa City for about a month and he’s already causing some serious trouble between him and his siblings, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow). Though was there ever any doubt that would happen?

The rivalry between the Newman siblings has been in full force since Victor Adam Newman, Jr. made his way into town back in 2008. The abandoned love child of Hope Adams and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was met with resentment from his older brother and sister after he accepted a place at Newman Enterprises. Over the years the family has gotten to see who Adam really is. He is ruthless, unforgiving and has himself in mind above all others. The saying the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree truly applies here. Adam’s dark side causes him hatred from his siblings and brings admiration from his father. And even though he has used that ruthlessness over the years to blackmail and seek revenge on his family he is still his father’s favorite child. And we all know it’s true no matter what Victor says.

Then there is Nicholas Newman. To say that Nick and Adam have had their share of problems would be an understatement. Adam stole Nick’s daughter Faith with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and passed her off as Ashley Abbott’s child for almost a year making them believe that their child had died. And while Sharon was grieving he sought out a relationship with her which ended in their elopement. Then there is the latest blow that Adam has dealt out to Nick. Upon his return to town, he made a few demands to Nick and Victoria that would ensure that he left town. One of those demands was for Nick to give up custody of his son, Christian. Christian is the biological son of Adam and Sage Newman but has been raised by Nick who was married to Sage before her death in 2016. Nick has, of course, denied Adam’s demand and doesn’t want him anywhere near Christian.

And as for Adam’s other demands, those were left for his sister Victoria. She has the business in her blood and loves the work. The self-claimed heir apparent to Newman Enterprises has remained faithful to the company despite continuously being passed over for a position in the company. As soon as she saw the opportunity to get Adam out of Genoa City and away from the company she took it. Along with Adam’s request for Christian, he asked for the location of his ex Chelsea, his other son Connor and HALF OF A BILLION DOLLARS! Victoria, being the resourceful woman she is, was able to locate Chelsea’s last known number. Which she just happened to steal out of Nick’s phone to give Adam. She also gave him 50 million dollars of what he was asking for. All is fair in love and war, right? Unfortunately for Victoria, she didn’t know that Adam used that money to buy Nick’s company, Dark Horse, out from underneath him. Which has led to Nick being furious with his sister for choosing business over family.

All three of them are about to be thrown a curveball though. The great Victor Newman has been diagnosed with a serious rare blood disease. Will they band together for the sake of family or will they take the opportunity to take out the enemy?

Whose side are you on?
