Chance comes across Summer sipping a latte at Crimson Lights. She reveals that her mother is ready to turn herself in and that this nightmare may finally be coming to an end. He inquires about her divorce. She keeps bringing up her mother and swears she’s prepared to face charges. Chance is perplexed as to what has changed and suspects that an attempt will be made to manipulate the law. She just wants this to be finished. She has suffered greatly and misses Harrison. It’s her fault for destroying her marriage with lies. She is unsure whether she deserves to be forgiven. She wonders if he has reconciled with Abby. According to Chance, it is a process that takes time. Summer is impatient and wants to repair her marriage. She can’t do that until this is all finished, even if it means facing prosecution. Christine enters and wonders what is going on. Chance believes there is some progress with Phyllis, but nothing actionable at this time. Summer rushes away, and Chance informs Christine that Phyllis is ready to surrender. She feels there must be some angle and that they are attempting to erase her numerous offenses. That is what frightens her. He stands up and walks out, declaring that he made an effort. 

Y&R Recap Today

In her disguise, Phyllis sneaks around the GCAC. She meets Carson in a private room. She didn’t expect Michael to find him so quickly. Tucker comes out and announces that he is the one who found Carson. Phyllis refuses to turn herself in and wonders whether this is all about the reward. He had no idea there was one and claims to have an offer for her. Tucker claims to be providing her with salvation. He is her only chance of avoiding prison. Phyllis is perplexed as to why Tucker is acting in this manner. Finally, she sits down and inquires as to what all of this is about. Tucker imparts some sound advice to her.  Phyllis inquires as to how he persuaded Carson to join him. He notes that everyone has a cost. 

Phyllis is confident that he will appear sooner or later. Daniel and Summer arrive, and Daniel expresses gratitude to Heather for filling in. Heather receives a text message informing her that Carson has been located and is ready to cooperate. Heather phones Chance and informs him that she is taking over for Michael and that her client is ready to surrender. 

Tucker goes downstairs and texts Ashley that there should be good news later. Christine and Chance enter the lobby. Heather, Phyllis, and her children descend the steps. After all, she did to the people of the town, including her own children, the DA is shocked to see Phyllis float down the stairs like a prom queen. Heather keeps her client quiet, and Chance arrests her before leading her out. Tucker observes everything and chuckles before sending a text. 

Y&R Recap Today

Kyle goes for a jog downstairs at the Abbott estate. Diane welcomes him at the door, but he is eager to leave. She believes they should talk about his marriage. Diane thinks Summer must feel bad about what she did, and his marriage cannot be over. She points out that he has little experience with healthy relationships. He’s enraged. His mother reminds him of her own failings and encourages him to have faith in the foundations he’s laid with Summer. After what she did, he doesn’t think he can keep a connection with her. Kyle is baffled as to why she is siding with Summer. His mother assures him that she is rooting for him. She is attempting to overlook what his wife has done for his sake. He understands she wants to assist, but he needs to do it his way.  She doesn’t have to be concerned about him. Tucker sends Diane a text message showing Phyllis being arrested with Summer by her side.
