Mariah Confesses to Tessa on The Young and the Restless
So, what exactly went down? Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) were at the park, doing their usual music thing: playing chords, working on lyrics, and bonding through creativity like they have been lately.
Daniel has really come a long way. He even complimented Tessa, saying the music they made was just as beautiful as she is. Tessa was clearly moved. But that moment of flattery didn’t last long.
Just moments later, Tessa spotted Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and decided it was time for answers. Their conversation quickly turned emotional — raw and vulnerable. Mariah was still guarded, still hiding the truth, and clearly struggling internally.
Tessa, feeling more distant than ever, told her that it doesn’t matter where she goes because even when she’s right there, it feels like she’s a million miles away. That line hit hard — and it was the final push Mariah needed. Yet she didn’t confess right away.
It was the moment that Tessa stormed off that really drove something in Mariah. She called out and said she was finally ready to tell the truth. With her voice shaking, she admitted: “I tried to kill a man.”
