THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS RECAP DECEMBER 15, 2023

What happened today on The Young and the Restless: Ashley strikes a deal with Tucker, Kyle and Audra settle unfinished business, and Summer struggles with her feelings for Chance.

Y&R Recap Today

Tucker shows up at the Abbott house, and Jack answers the door. He tells him that he’s there to see Ashley, and when she comes into the room, Tucker tells Ashley, Diane, and Jack that he is there to call a truce. He tells them that he wants to buy out Ashley’s half of Glissadew and run it himself in competition with Jabot but has no plans to continue going after Jabot for himself.

Jack makes it clear that he doesn’t believe him, but Tucker maintains that he is sincere. Tucker tells Ashley to name her price, and he will pay it before leaving. After he is gone, Jack wonders if Tucker suspects something, and Ashley says, “Of course he does.”

Jack thinks they should leak the information they have on Tucker, but Diane says they have to wait until Ashley signs over Glissade so she doesn’t take a hit as well. Diane then complains to Jack that Billy was absent when they needed him, again and Jack tells her that he isn’t going to discuss it again, it is his call.

Y&R Recap Today

Audra and Kyle make love and then discuss business. She presses him to find information for Tucker at Jabot, but he tells her that he can’t do that without knowing Tucker’s plan. Tucker texts Audra and tells her that they should meet, and when she doesn’t reply, he goes up to her room. When Kyle answers the door, Tucker is not happy to see Kyle there and not at Jabot. Kyle tells him what he told Audra, and Tucker reveals his plan, saying that he wants Kyle to get information and the formula for an upcoming Jabot release so that he can reproduce it and release it before Jabot does. Tucker says he also plans on making it look like either Billy or Diane is the leak, which will blow up the company internally and externally. After Tucker leaves, Audra and Kyle discuss Tucker’s plan, and Kyle tells her that he thinks Tucker was lying and plans to set him up to be revealed as the leak. He says that he has to find a way to turn the tables on Tucker and asks her whose side she is on.

Downstairs, Tucker calls Ashley, who tells him that she just sent her price via text. Tucker looks at it and accepts it. She tells him that her attorney will get the papers to him immediately, and he says his attorney will look them over when they do. After they hang up, Ashley looks at Jack and Diane and says, “Done. Now, we wait.” Jack says he is feeling close to victory for the first time and hopes they will finally be putting an end to Tucker McCall.

Y&R Recap Today

Chelsea is having coffee at Society when Billy comes in with a gift bag and sits down with her. She thinks that they’re gifts for Connor, but he shows them to her and tells her that they are for her to use when they go away together for New Year’s.

She is surprised and wonders if she guilted him into it, but he assures her that she didn’t. They talk about what is going on at Jabot and Billy admits that he isn’t sure he has a place there anymore. He knows Diane wants Jack to replace him with Kyle and feels that, deep down, Jack feels the same way.

Billy also confides that his mother wants him to come work with her at Chancellor Winters and he knows that she needs him and that he will be valued there.

Chelsea tells him that their vacation can wait because he has somewhere else he needs to be and he kisses her before leaving.

Y&R Recap Today

Summer sees Chance at Crimson Lights, and he teases her about following him. She asks how it went when he told his fellow officers about his new path and he admits that not everyone was happy he was leaving the force.

Summer is outraged on his behalf, but he tells her that he understands. Chance mentions that he is going to a concert that night with Sharon but that she’s not as excited about it as he is. When he tells her the band’s name, Summer is shocked because they are her favorite band. Sharon calls Chance and tells him that she has to cancel their date because of work, and he understands. After he hangs up, he asks Summer if she wants to go to the concert with him, but she doesn’t think it’s a good idea. Daniel comes in, and Chance asks him to get Summer to change her mind before leaving. Daniel tells Summer that she should go and knocks down every excuse she comes up with not to. She turns the tables on him and wonders if this is more about his situation with Heather and Lily, and that is when Daniel tells her he has to go. After he leaves, Summer calls Chance and accepts his offer to go to the concert with him.
