Y&R Recap Today
Billy and Chelsea are celebrating Billy’s return to Chancellor-Winters. Chelsea is curious about what will happen when Lily returns. However, Billy says he’s not looking for answers. He reveals that Nate has also returned to the company and that Chance has joined them as well. Billy admits that although it was bittersweet leaving Jabot, he feels like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders now that he’s back at Chancellor-Winters.
Audra and Kyle meet at Crimson Lights. Audra tells Kyle that Tucker wants her to run Jabot after the takeover. However, Kyle seems worried and tells her that something big is about to happen. He reveals that Tucker’s cover-up is going to be exposed.
Audra is frustrated and says that this was not supposed to be an issue. She insists that they need to talk to Tucker’s family and stop it before it gets too late. But Kyle tells her it is already too late. Audra, who worked hard to get to where she is, says that she cannot go down like this. Kyle tells her that he begged his dad to keep her name out of it.
Audra thinks that Kyle was just using her, and Tucker was right about him all along. She calls Tucker and tells him that they need to talk as soon as possible. Audra warns Kyle that Tucker will be furious.
Nikki and Victor visit the Jazz Lounge to relax and forget about their problems. While Nikki went to use the restroom, Victor offers to get some drinks. Nikki goes to the staircase and has a drink from her flask, but Nate finds her and asks what is going on. Nikki denies any wrongdoing, but Nate sees her take a drink from her flask and tries to talk to her about it. Nikki warns him against spreading false rumors and tells him it is none of his business. She asks him to leave her alone and stay out of her life.
Nate talks to Victor and informs him that he suspects Nikki is drinking again. Victor warns Nate that if he is only bringing this up to get his job back at Newman, it’s not going to happen. However, Nate clarifies that his intention is not to get his job back, and he suggests that Victor keep an eye on Nikki because he believes she is going through something that is affecting her deeply. Victor asks him to explain further, and Nate reveals that he has reason to believe that Nikki has started drinking again. Just then, Nikki enters the room and sees the guys talking. She quickly leaves, and Victor and Nate try to find her. Victor warns Nate to stay out of his family’s business and not go beyond where they are now.
Ashley updates Jack that their deal is done, and she asks him what their next step should be. Jack suggests that they ruin Tucker’s reputation by exposing the information they have on him. Ashley confirms that she is not having second thoughts and that Tucker should have left them alone. She encourages Jack to release the information. Jack does so, and he predicts that anyone involved in Glacade will either abandon Tucker or stand together to force him out.
Tucker is preparing a note for his team at Glacade when he receives a notification. He opens it to find a story titled “Tucker McCall complicit in criminal cover-up.” Angered by the accusation, Tucker storms over to the Abbott Mansion to confront Jack about releasing the story. He warns them that this is far from over before storming out. Later, Kyle returns home and they celebrate. Jack raises a toast to the first successful step towards destroying Tucker.
Tucker meets with Audra. She has news about Kyle. Tucker says he is not the only one they have to worry about. Audra begs him not to lose faith now.
Nikki returns home and receives a call from an unknown number, which turns out to be Jordan. Nikki expresses her displeasure and tells Jordan to stop contacting her. Nikki warns Jordan that the police are searching for her, and it is only a matter of time before they locate her. Jordan claims to have Claire, but Nikki believes that her daughter is alive and being treated in the hospital. Jordan refutes that and proposes a deal.
Victoria arrives at Memorial Hospital with some items for Claire. As she unpacks, she notices a gold bracelet on the bed that Jordan was wearing in Oregon. The nurse brings in dinner, and Victoria wonders if Claire has gone to a therapy meeting. The nurse informs her that no meetings are scheduled during dinner time. Victoria then requests to speak to someone in security as she is worried about Claire’s safety. She tells the security that Claire is missing, and she found a bracelet that looks exactly like the one Jordan was wearing in Oregon. The security reviews the footage and informs Victoria that a blonde woman left with Claire in a wheelchair. Cole arrives shortly after and promises her that they will find their daughter. They meet with Victor at the GCAC, and Victoria informs him that Jordan took Claire. Victor says he will go to the ranch to check on Nikki but asks them to keep him informed about Claire’s whereabouts.
