Key Takeaways

  • Victor and Nikki strategize to help Nick.
  • Kyle works to protect Jabot.
  • Matt asks Sharon for forgiveness.
  • Sharon has every reason to question Matt’s change.
  • Nick’s relapse has his parents deeply concerned.

Victor and Nikki Strategize

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) are riding on cloud nine right now. After all, saying your “I dos” all over again will do that! We are definitely happy for them, but they still have plenty to worry about when it comes to their family—especially their son, Nick (Joshua Morrow).

The man has really struggled with an unhealthy addiction that took him right to the brink of death. And even though he tried to do the right thing by checking into rehab, he went right back to using. That means his parents have to step in and do something before it’s too late. To that end, Victor and Nikki strategize to help Nick. But can they actually pull him out of this spiral?

Kyle Runs Damage Control to Protect Jabot

Elsewhere, Kyle (Michael Mealor) is playing defense. He knows that with Billy’s latest moves and crazy schemes, the company could end up taking some serious hits.

That is NOT going to look good. But Kyle is thinking about the long haul, so he steps up to protect the family business before Billy’s (Jason Thompson) chaos causes real damage.

Can Sharon Ever Really Forgive Matt?

While Kyle is busy protecting Jabot, Y&R spoilers for August 19 say that Matt (Roger Howarth) seeks forgiveness from Sharon (Sharon Case).

Honestly, Matt should know better than to even try… especially right now. How can Sharon ever forget the pure terror he rained down on her family, on Nick, and on her? That is a whole lot to carry, and forgiving a man like that takes a lot.

He claims he is completely reformed, and he’s showing every sign of change right now. But how long can he actually keep that up? And is there any chance Sharon actually forgives him?

Can Victor and Nikki save Nick, and should Sharon give Matt the time of day? Sound off in the comments below!
