Victor Takes Control

Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) being back in Genoa City is causing all kinds of trouble.

Things already turned physical after his altercation with Noah (Lucas Adams), but now Matt seems to be hiding out in plain sight while the Newman family scrambles to track him down. And leading the charge is none other than Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) himself.

The Mustache is officially taking the reins when it comes to the manhunt for Matt Clark. Honestly, that should not surprise anyone. The Newmans are desperate to get Matt under control since he has a habit of making their lives a living hell every time he resurfaces.

One person being hit especially hard by all of this is Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Ever since Matt’s return, Nick has clearly been struggling. Things only got worse after the car accident. Since then, Nick has been battling a fentanyl addiction, and while he has been trying to get sober, it has not been easy.

In fact, his behavior is starting to raise red flags within the family.

Adam Questions Nick’s Recovery

Y&R spoilers for May 13 tease that Adam (Mark Grossman) begins questioning whether Nick is truly on the right path. Adam can tell something feels off, and it seems Nick may not be hiding his struggles as well as he thinks he is.

Devon Is Concerned About Lily

Elsewhere in Genoa City, Devon (Bryton James) starts worrying about Lily’s (Christel Khalil) decision-making, especially when it comes to Cane (Billy Flynn).

Cane has stepped up in a major way to help save Malcolm’s (Shemar Moore) life, and that means a lot to Lily. Naturally, the experience seems to be pulling the former couple closer together again.

The stronger their bond becomes, though, the more concerned Devon gets.

It is pretty obvious Devon is not thrilled about Cane being back in Lily’s orbit, and whatever decision Lily makes where Cane is concerned, there is a good chance Devon will not be happy about it.
