Devon and Mariah Talk Forgiveness
Tuesday’s episode of The Young and the Restless is shaping up to be another emotional one in Genoa City.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is about to get a visitor, and it is probably the last person she expected to see: Devon (Bryton James).
Given everything that happened, Devon has struggled to look past Mariah’s actions, and honestly, that is understandable. Forgiveness was never going to happen overnight.
Right now, Devon still seems conflicted about whether he can truly move forward, but it looks like the two are finally ready to have an honest conversation about it.
Of course, Mariah would love nothing more than for Devon to eventually find it in his heart to forgive her.
To that end, the two spend some time discussing forgiveness and where things stand between them.
Daniel Tries to Keep the Peace
While Devon and Mariah work through their issues, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) finds himself trying to play peacemaker.
In fact, he attempts to broker a truce between his mother and Christine (Lauralee Bell).
As viewers already know, though, trying to get Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Christine onto the same page is much easier said than done.
Phyllis knows how to hold onto a grudge, and it certainly does not seem like she plans on letting Christine off the hook anytime soon.
And, the same could probably be said for Christine as well.
Still, Daniel appears determined to at least try to calm the tension between them.
Will his efforts actually pay off?
Patty Helps Matt Clark
Elsewhere, Y&R spoilers for May 19 reveal that Patty (Stacy Haiduk) steps in to help Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) navigate Genoa City.
Ever since everything that happened in Vegas, Matt has been struggling with amnesia. He has been trying desperately to piece his memories back together, and little by little, flashes are starting to return.
The problem is that what he remembers is not exactly comforting.
In fact, some of those memories appear to be deeply unsettling.
Now Patty finds herself helping Matt as he continues trying to figure out who he really is and what happened to him.
