Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, October 22, 2026 tease an emotional decision for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), a surprising side of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and an intense confrontation between Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). With Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) facing a serious health crisis, Billy has a lot to figure out, while Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) may be rethinking an old rivalry.

Adam Shows Chelsea a Different Side
Adam is a genuinely good guy at heart. Like anyone else, he has his faults and flaws, but underneath it all, he is a good man, a good father, a good son, a good brother, and a good partner. Just ask Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). They have had their ups and downs and their share of good days.
Still, every now and then, someone does something that completely catches you off guard. That is Adam right now, and Chelsea is about to see a brand-new side to the man she thought she knew inside and out.
Of course, being there to help Sally (Courtney Hope) through a major milestone—helping deliver her little one—is something that is going down in Genoa City history. Even so, it must have been incredibly hard for him.
Given that Adam and Sally previously endured the tragic loss of baby Ava, being forced into that situation had to bring back a flood of painful memories. Still, Adam put his own emotions aside, stepped up, and delivered that precious child. He truly proved what a good guy he is at his core.
Billy’s Urgent Promise to Sally
Meanwhile, Billy makes a promise to Sally. Billy is supposed to be heading to London with Cane (Billy Flynn) to see Jill, who just suffered a heart attack and is facing surgery. The doctors fear she might not make it, and things look pretty bleak. However, Billy just found out that Sally had his baby girl, and they just got married. That is two major milestones happening all at once.
When Billy makes Sally a promise in Thursday’s episode, does it have anything to do with his trip to see Jill? Does it involve their newborn baby? You know Sally—once she finds out what is going on with Jill’s critical condition, she won’t hesitate to push her new husband to be on the next flight out to be with his mother.
Victor Grills Nick, and Nikki Shifts Stance on a Rival!
Elsewhere in Genoa City, The Young and the Restless spoilers for October 22 reveal that Victor interrogates Nick. Could The Mustache be demanding answers regarding Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), or is he grilling his son about an entirely different situation?
Meanwhile, Nikki experiences a sudden change of heart regarding a rival. Who could she finally be softening up toward?
