Victor Makes a Tough Decision to Protect Nick
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is always thinking several moves ahead of everyone else in Genoa City.
Whether he’s going after the Abbotts, making moves involving Jabot, or dealing with another enemy, Victor usually has a plan. But when it comes to his family, especially his children, everything changes.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) has found himself caught up in a messy situation following the sudden death of Marie’s (Jade Harlow) husband after a heated showdown connected to rehab. Now Victor realizes his son needs him.
Victor is prepared to do whatever it takes to protect him. That means making a ruthless decision — and when Victor decides that family comes first, nobody should assume he’ll play fair.
Jack and Diane Receive an Ominous Message From Patty
Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) may have hoped things would finally calm down, but Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) isn’t exactly interested in giving them a break.
Fresh out of prison, Patty has been lurking around Genoa City, and Jack has already put a plan into motion to trap her.
The problem is that Patty is unpredictable. Very unpredictable. She has made some truly disturbing moves in the past, especially when she feels cornered. So when Jack and Diane receive an ominous message from her, they have every reason to be concerned.
Has Patty figured out what Jack is planning? If she has, Jack could have a serious problem on his hands.
For now, the couple is left rattled as they try to figure out what Patty’s cryptic message means — and, more importantly, how they can get to her before she gets to them.
Phyllis Hits a Dead End Trying to Help Matt
Y&R spoilers also tease another setback for Phyllis (Michelle Stafford).
Phyllis has been determined to rehabilitate Matt’s (Roger Howarth) image. Her plan was to put him in a position where he could save Sharon and prove to everyone that he’s actually changed.
But things haven’t gone according to plan. Matt pulled back, and then a strange clue suggested that another woman had been in his room. Phyllis quickly put the pieces together and came to a troubling conclusion: Patty may have been the woman in Matt’s room.
Now, however, Phyllis has hit a complete dead end.
Her carefully constructed plan isn’t moving forward, and she may have to rethink her entire strategy. The question is whether Red will finally admit that her plan isn’t working — or come up with another scheme to keep Matt’s redemption story alive.
