The Young and the Restless Recap for Today, December 12, 2023:
What happened today on The Young and the Restless: Ashley strategizes with Jack, Mamie and Jill’s feud reaches a boiling point, and Diane teaches Kyle a valuable lesson.

Jack asks Ashley if she will sell her half of Glacade to Tucker and Ashley admits that she is considering it. Jack thinks that giving Tucker the company could be the way to get him out of their lives for good. Ashley asks Jack to explain the plan in detail. Jack says that when Tucker buys Ashley’s half of the company, he will try to sow discontent inside of Jabot while raising capital for it. Jack believes they need to do anything to achieve their goal as he reveals that they are planning to expose Tucker’s involvement in the cover-up at McCall. He is convinced that the board of directors will not let Tucker stand after that story is out. Ashley receives a text, and Jack asks if it is good news. Ashley replies saying that it all begins.
Tucker visits Audra and asks if Kyle is there. Audra tells him that Kyle is not there and that he is wasting his breath with his loud tone. Tucker expresses his doubts about Kyle’s loyalty and wonders why he is not disclosing secrets about Jabot or if he is trying to throw them off their game. Audra tells Tucker that she is doing her best and asks him to have faith in her. Tucker insists that his instincts are telling him that Kyle is playing them. He instructs Audra to get Kyle to do something to prove that he is on their side. Audra assures him that she can make it happen.
Audra wonders if Tucker is threatened by her relationship with Kyle. Tucker reassures her that their history is too strong to be affected by that. Audra asks Tucker about their plan, and he receives a text from Ashley asking to meet.

Meanwhile, Kyle and Diane are at the GCAC. Diane expresses her excitement about their plan to eliminate Tucker. She informs Kyle that Jill is on board with their scheme, and it’s an alliance to intimidate their friends and foes. Diane tells Kyle that if Tucker is using him to destroy Jabot from the inside, then it’s up to him to stop him. She thinks Jack will be proud of him if he does so. Although Tucker and Audra haven’t explicitly revealed their plan, Kyle believes he can cause chaos. Kyle thinks that Tucker doesn’t trust anyone, but he’s buying his act so far. Diane suggests that Kyle should let Tucker see how unhappy he is with his family and their decisions and look to him for support. Kyle agrees with the plan and is convinced that he can execute it perfectly. Kyle expresses his concern about his father finding out about him being a double agent. Diane reassures him that it’s for the best.
Nate meets with Jill and Devon at Society. Jill fills him in on Chancellor Winters’ grave danger, as they face a potential existential threat, and they discuss their next steps. They also discuss Lily’s absence, which is unfortunate timing since Tucker is coming after the company.
Mamie walks in, furious, and announces that Tucker is coming after their company and that it’s time for everyone to pitch in. Jill and Mamie have a heated exchange, but Devon intervenes, telling them they’re wasting time. He’s glad Nate is back, as he’s their most valuable asset at the moment. Devon and Nate leave to go to the office.
As they leave, Mamie tells Jill that she’s giving the wrong impression about them when the guys need their support. Mamie thought they were working together against Tucker. Jill clarifies that they just have a common enemy.
Mamie thinks going up against Tucker will be a piece of cake. Jill offers to pay Mamie to leave, but Mamie declines, saying she can’t be bought. Jill then offers Mamie anything she wants, and Mamie says she was about to make the same offer to Jill, asking what it would take for Jill to go away.
Nate and Devon go to Crimson Lights, where Nate thanks Devon for everything and promises not to let him down.
Y&R Recap Today
Chelsea meets with Billy at Crimson Lights. She apologizes for being late and blames it on the traffic. Billy finds it funny because Chelsea lives nearby. He is in a good mood and shares with her that they might have finally found a way to take down Tucker for good. Chelsea asks when she could hear about it, and Billy says that he will tell her after he swears her to secrecy.
He explains to Chelsea that everyone has a role to play, and once everything is set, Tucker will be out of there for good. However, Chelsea feels like Billy could be getting into trouble without even realizing it, and warns him about the risks involved. Billy assures her that he has everything under control and that the professional world is different from his gambling days. Chelsea reminds him of his past, but Billy is confident that he knows what he is doing. Suddenly, he realizes that Chelsea is right and thanks her for speaking up. Billy appreciates Chelsea’s honesty and thanks her for being there for him. Chelsea notes that he was there for her, so she is returning the favor.
Ashley meets with Tucker at the GCAC, where they run into Kyle and Diane. Ashley suggests they get a table to have their discussion, and as they are seated, she tells Tucker that she is selling him her half of the company. Tucker suspects she is trying to manipulate him, noting that she has been doing so since she returned from Paris, but he can’t figure out her motives yet. Ashley warns him that it will be expensive and that she will make him pay, promising to keep him updated on her progress. She runs into Audra on the way out.
Later, when Diane and Kyle arrive home, Jack informs them that Ashley has agreed to sell Tucker her half of Glacade and that everything is going according to plan.
