Y&R Recap Today 

Nate sits down after Lily asks him to do so assuming that it’s going to be bad news. Devon tells him that he went to see Victor and Lily shares that she spoke with Nick. However, Nate says that he already told them what happened. He expresses that if they are going to tell him that he doesn’t have a shot, they should not waste time with excuses. But Devon invites him to sit back down and listen to what they have to say. Lily then tells Nate they want to believe he learned from his mistakes. Nate maintains that what he was trying to do at Newman was for Victor’s own good. Devon admits they have trust issues, but Lily tells Nate that she doesn’t believe he was using Victor’s illness as some power grab. Nate says that Aunt Mamie believes in him and wishes they would too. Devon notes that they are willing to give him another shot. Nate inquires if Jill signed off on the decisions, and they say yes. Nate thanks them, and Devon says it will be provisional. However, Nate assures them that he will not disappoint them. He is humbled that they are giving him another opportunity.

Nate takes this as an opportunity to ask Devon for his honest opinion about his return to the company. Devon responds that it could work out if Nate is fully committed to it. Nate expresses his gratitude, especially towards Lily who played a significant role in bringing him back. Devon assures Nate that he genuinely wants him to succeed and hopes that there won’t be any issues. Lily returns and informs them that it was Mattie on the phone, reporting a wildfire at her school that’s only partially contained. Lily says she has to go and be with her daughter. Devon offers to prepare the jet for her, and Nate pleads with her to keep them updated.

Lily calls Charlie from home to give him an update. Daniel enters and Lily expresses her worries, but Daniel reassures her that she’s just a concerned mother. He offers to help and calls to clear his schedule, but Lily declines, not wanting to jeopardize his upcoming launch. Lily insists that she has everything under control and begs him to stay in GC.

Y&R Recap Today 

Meanwhile, Jack and Diane are at home discussing work. Diane notices that Jack seems to be in a good mood and asks if he’s already in the holiday spirit. Jack tells her that it could be a part of it, but he’s also happy to have his son Kyle back at work with him. They kiss, and as Billy walks in, he tells them about an interesting conversation he had with his mother about Tucker.

Billy informs them that his mother believes Tucker is planning to force her out of the company along with Mamie. Diane asks if Jill has any plan to counter Tucker’s move. 

Billy says that his mother always has a plan, even when it is difficult to fight against someone who operates in the shadows. He reveals that his mother has requested that he leave Jabot and join her in the fight at Chancellor. Although Jack needs Billy, Billy states that his mother needs him more. He assures Jack that he is in this fight until the end and he is not going anywhere. Billy suggests they form an alliance with Jill, so they can have the power to neutralize Tucker. He is not proposing a merger of the companies, but rather that they work together to get rid of Tucker once and for all. The idea of reinforcement has given Billy this plan.

Jack is feeling unsure about releasing the article. Diane suggests that it might be time to go ahead with it. Billy points out that Tucker doesn’t care about any negative consequences and is unlikely to face legal repercussions. Diane thinks that Tucker may be enjoying the situation and the power he holds over them. However, Jack believes that the situation is just a meaningless mind game.

Jill is sitting at Society and sees Tucker across the room. He offers to buy her a drink. She warns him that he has no chance of getting his hands on Chancellor Winters, even if she were to die at that moment. She reveals that she has made legal provisions to ensure that he could never own a share in the company. 

Mamie walks in and spots the two. She walks over and asks what is going on. Jill questions why Mamie is there since she claims she stopped associating with Tucker. Mamie says it is pure coincidence. Jill begs her to stop pretending that they are not in cahoots. Mamie admits that, as much as she would love to take the company from Jill, she is not in cahoots with the man who broke Ashley’s heart. Tucker claims he is just trying to help Jill and begs her not to name her price.

Y&R Recap Today 

Jill refuses to sell her company to Tucker at any price, stating that she wants to build the company and leave a legacy for her family. Mamie agrees that this is a common desire. However, Jill warns that she has a powerful tool at her disposal and won’t hesitate to use it if they try to push her. 

Tucker taunts Jill about having more support than she does. He then leaves and Jill expresses her desire to get rid of him for good. Mamie suggests giving him a million-dollar cheque to make him leave. Mamie claims that she returned for her family, but Jill suspects there may be more to it. Mamie insists that she does not trust Tucker, citing his past actions towards Ashley. She wants nothing to do with him. 

Jill pleads with Mamie to prove her loyalty by sharing her plans and information about Tucker’s intentions. She suggests that they work together to help their loved ones. They agree to call a truce and collaborate. 

Jill arrives at the Abbott Mansion with the belief that Billy intends to leave Jabot and work with her. However, Billy clarifies that he is not leaving. They discuss Tucker’s intentions and conclude that there is no real threat; it’s all a mind game. Billy suggests that they team up and turn the tables on Tucker using similar mind games. Jill agrees and adds that Mamie could be a valuable ally, as they are on the same team now. Jack suggests that they push Tucker to the edge to gain the upper hand.

Later, Mamie encounters Tucker at the GCAC, who requests to speak with her. Mamie is hesitant but agrees. Tucker tells her that he’s backing off from Jill, leaving Mamie wondering about his real motives.
