The Young and the Restless Recap for Today, November 27, 2023:

What happened today on The Young and the Restless: Victor demands answers on Nikki’s whereabouts, while Nikki receives a painful reminder about her past, and Jordan and Claire reveal their motives.

Nate and Adam run into each other at the GCAC. Adam asks Nate if he has seen Victor or Victoria anywhere. Nate can’t understand why Adam thinks he would know anything about that since he no longer works at Newman. Adam clarifies that it was just a question and wonders if Nate is also no longer involved with Victoria. Nate responds that it’s none of Adam’s business, but finds it interesting that neither Victor nor Victoria informed him of their activities. Nate remarks that Adam still hasn’t advanced since losing his job as his assistant. As Nate walks away, Sally appears and comments, “Well, you really make friends wherever you go, don’t you?” Adam notes that Nate seems to strongly dislike him, especially after losing his job. Sally asks about what Nate said regarding Adam’s family, continuing to shut him out. Adam clarifies that it’s not true; his relationship with his father has never been better.

Sally asks Adam about repairing his relationship with his father. Although not everything is perfect, he tells her that it is getting there. Adam brings up the fact that Sally has been avoiding him since the night they were together. Sally denies avoiding him but confesses that she needed some time to process everything as she is still feeling conflicted. Adam understands and says that what they had is still there, and he has no regrets about what happened. However, Sally expresses that she doesn’t want to go back to the past. Adam clarifies that he is not asking her to go back, but rather, he wants her to see him for who he is now. Sally reminds him of his lie and how he played her. Adam acknowledges his mistake but points out that Victor was the one who told the biggest lie and tried to trap them into betraying him. Sally admits that she has never stopped caring about Adam, but she doesn’t know how she feels about that night. Adam tells her that he misses her and wants to know where things go from here. He suggests that they have dinner tonight, as in having an actual date. 

They get to dinner and Adam talks about how her company has been thriving. She says she is building something and she loves it. Later, Sally tells Adam that she is not hungry and they should have a raincheck on dinner because she needs to be alone and sort through some things. Adam offers to walk her to her room but Sally declines. He then offers to walk to the stairs, at least and she agrees. As they get there, she thanks him for a lovely evening. He suggests they have a real date soon and she says she would love that. She notes that he is really trying to be better and tells him that she can see it and then she kisses him. He says he was not expecting that.

Y&R Recap Today

Audra and Nate run into each other at Crimson Lights. Audra inquires about what’s happening with Nate and the Newmans. Nate clarifies that he is not a part of the Newman family and, hence, not involved in their affairs. 

He proceeds to tell her how Victor, who had pretended to be ill, was afraid that someone would betray him and use his condition to remove him as CEO of Newman Enterprises. Nate assures Audra that he was genuinely concerned about Victor’s well-being. Audra believes that she knows him well and that he was trying to make a move, but Victor prevented him from doing so. Audra doesn’t see his plan as a betrayal, but Victor interpreted it as a move against him. Nate thinks that he was deliberately set up for failure from the beginning, and Audra points out that Victoria played a role in it. However, Nate is not interested in discussing it. Nate admits that he is furious, but he is not foolish enough to seek revenge against Victor Newman.

 Audra tells him that she has some potential opportunities that she is considering. She cannot provide further details until the deal is finalized, but it will be a place where she will have more freedom than she does now. She says that they could use some smart and strong people to come on board. Nate wonders if she is making him an offer. She says that she could be once everything becomes more concrete and he is interested.

Y&R Recap Today

Cole calls Victoria and leaves a message for her. He says that he is at the house Nikki instructed him to go to, but when he got there, he found that Nikki was not there. He is alone in the house and has no idea whose it is. He begs Victoria to call him back as soon as she receives the message. Jordan approaches from behind and knocks him out by hitting him on the head. 

Nikki wakes up and realizes that she needs to leave the place. She tries to get out of bed, but she is weak and unable to move. She finds a photo of Eve Howard on the bed and thinks she sees Claire, but it’s Jordan who introduces herself and comforts Nikki, telling her to stay calm and that she needs the IV to stay hydrated. Jordan informs her that her family will be arriving soon, and she will be able to join them. In the meantime, she needs to rest and relax. Nikki blames Jordan for her condition but Jordan tells her that she should blame herself and that her family is responsible for what happened to her. Nikki has a dream, remembering her past with Eve.

Y&R Recap Today

Claire, Victor, Victoria and Nick arrive at the house and Claire immediately calls out for her aunt. However, there is no response. Claire suggests that maybe her aunt is back at the hospital and offers to get them something to drink. Nick opts for water, and Claire goes to get it. As she hands out the water, she tries to reassure Victoria by telling her that her mother will be fine. 

Jordan then appears with her arm in a sling. Victor asks about his wife’s whereabouts, and Jordan informs him that she is still in the hospital. She assures him that the doctors are taking good care of her. Victor asks for the hospital’s name, but Jordan explains that visiting hours are over, and they wouldn’t allow him to visit her. Victor insists that he still wants to see his wife, but Jordan says she can order a car service for him. She notes that she would offer to lend him her car, but it has some mechanical issues.

Jordan invents a story about how Nikki ended up in the hospital while the family asks about it. Claire returns and informs them that the car service will arrive in 15 minutes. Jordan then offers to prepare some food for them to eat while they wait. However, none of them are hungry; they just want to see Nikki. Jordan insists that they relax and advises that it is the right time to start being truthful with each other. As she removes her arm sling, she also mentions that there won’t be any car service coming as they thought. 

Victor is filled with a sense of unease as he suspects that something sinister is going on. Nick, on the other hand, is more direct and threatens to call the police. However, Jordan advises against this and insists that if they want to see Nikki again, they should listen to her. She then asks Victor if she looks familiar to him, but he denies ever having met her before. Jordan reveals that while that may be true, Victor did have an intimate relationship with her sister, Eve Howard. 

Jordan reveals that he had a past relationship with her sister, who loved him deeply but he betrayed her and broke her heart. Jordan claims that he is there now because he needs to make amends. Victor, on the other hand, suspects that Jordan is after money, and is skeptical about the existence of Eve’s sister, as she was never mentioned before. Jordan explains that they were estranged at the time and never had a chance to reconcile before Eve’s death. As Victor and his children get up to leave, Jordan drops a bombshell, revealing that Victor’s wife is not at the hospital, and her supposed seizure was just a trick to lure them there.

Victor says this game is over. Jordan points out that it is no game and tells them that it is as serious as a heart attack that they will have, thanks to the poison they drank in their water bottles. She says to them that they don’t have long to live, and it will be her utmost pleasure to stand there and watch them die. Later, they attempt to get out, but the doors are tightly locked, and Claire brings Cole out. Victoria is astonished. Claire says, “He had to be here for the family reunion, didn’t he, Mother?” revealing herself to be Victoria’s daughter.
