Y&R Recap November 3, 2023: Billy Is On to Kyle

 

The Young and the Restless Recap for Friday, November 3, 2023:

Today on The Young and the Restless, Victor plays hardball with Nate, Ashley makes a confession, and Billy gives Kyle a wakeup call.

Adam goes into Victor’s office to invite him out for drinks and Victor happily accepts before telling Adam that they have to discuss how to best merge Kirsten Incorporated into Newman Media. Adam reminds him that Sharon took Kirsten back and Victor questions what they are talking about. Adam deflects before Nate walks in and asks if everything is ok. 

In the hall, Adam tells Nate what happened with Victor and tells him about the specialist that he talked to. Nate asks him if he talked to Nick and Victoria about it and Adam tells him that he has but they don’t want him anywhere near it. As he gets on the elevator, Adam says that he can’t worry about them, his sole focus has to be his father. After Adam leaves, Nate goes in to talk to Victor about what just happened.

Nate tells Victor about Adam talking to a specialist and Victor thinks that proves Adam is trying to have him removed as CEO. Nate doesn’t think that is what’s going on, but he is unable to convince Victor of that. He suggests that Victor should make a preemptive move and take a leave of absence with a cover story so he can get a proper diagnosis. 

Y&R Recap Today

Nick and Sally talk about her new company and how well it’s going in the lobby of the GAC. She asks how Victor is doing and Nick asks what she means. Sally tells him that Adam told her that Victor was having some issues and she knew that must be hard for Nick to deal with. They go up to her room to talk and Nick thanks her, telling her that he doesn’t want to talk about his father’s condition in public. 

Nick asks Sally what Adam told her and she tells him. Nick says that they are trying to keep it quiet and that he wishes Adam had been more discreet. Sally points out that Nick told her as well and he says the difference is that he isn’t looking for sympathy and Adam was. He quickly takes it back and then implies that Adam would take advantage of Victor’s condition. Sally tells him that’s not what is going on, but Nick doesn’t believe her. 

Sally tells Nick that she suggested to Adam that he talk to Nick and Victoria and that the three of them work together, but Nick tells her that she has more faith in them than she should. He comments that it sounds like she and Adam must be in a closer place if they talked about something so personal and says that she must be taking his advice about figuring out her relationship with Adam. 

They go back downstairs and Sally promises to not say anything about Victor. Nick thanks her and then they run into Adam, who needs to speak to Nick. Sally leaves them alone to talk and Adam tells Nick about his plan with Victor and the doctor. Nick doesn’t think it will work but reluctantly agrees to join Adam and Victor for drinks so he can watch what happens.
