Huge congratulations are in order for The Young and the Restless star Redding Munsell! The young actor, who plays Harrison Abbott on the CBS daytime drama, took home the award for Best Performance in a TV Series: Recurring Youth Artist at the 47th Annual Young Artist Awards.
The ceremony was hosted by the Young Artist Academy on August 16, 2026, celebrating some of the brightest young talents in the entertainment industry.
Munsell took to Instagram to celebrate his big win with a few snaps from the star-studded night. He wrote:
“What a fun night! Incredibly grateful to @youngartistawds, academy members, and my Y&R Fam and Fans! So humbled to accept the award for Best Performance in a TV Series: Recurring Youth Artist for The Young and the Restless!”
Munsell went on to thank the team behind the iconic soap opera, writing:
“Thank you to @youngandrestlesscbs for giving me the opportunity to be Harrison Abbott and for allowing me to grow up on this legendary show. A Big Year for the Young Star
This year alone, Munsell earned three impressive Young Artist Award nominations. Aside from his big win for The Young and the Restless, he was also nominated for Best Performance by a Youth Actor in a Commercial and Best Leading Performance by a Young Actor in a Short Film for his role in Werewolf.
This isn’t his first time receiving recognition from the organization, either. Munsell was previously nominated in 2025 for his role on Y&R, as well as back in 2024 for his work in commercials and film.
Redding Munsell began his acting career at age six. He has quickly built a strong portfolio across film, television, and commercials. Seeing his hard work and talent recognized on such a huge stage is a major milestone!
