Next week on The Young and the Restless, spoilers tease trouble for Lily Winters, Nick Newman, Adam Newman, and Sharon Collins. The weekly preview raises questions about Lily’s cancer, reveals a shocking discovery involving Matt Clark, and shows Matt sneaking into Sharon’s cottage. There’s plenty to worry about as the drama unfolds.
Here’s what’s coming up on Y&R from October 12-16, according to the spoiler video.
Lily’s Health Scare
The Young and the Restless spoilers video for the week of October 12 kicks off with a heartbreaking scene at a cafe. Lily Winters and Nate Hastings sit together while Lily clearly spirals. She vents to Nate about her fears. She thought cancer was firmly in her past. Now, she wonders what she could have possibly done wrong to be dealing with it all over again.
While the preview doesn’t explicitly reveal her biopsy results, her tone says it all. The look on her face proves she is absolutely terrified.
Detective Burrow Drops a Bombshell on Nick and Adam
Meanwhile, Detective Burrow sits down with the Newman brothers over at Society. He has some major, worrying news for Adam and Nick. Naturally, they might think this is an update on the drug dealer Nick clashed with. However, that isn’t the case at all.
Burrow informs them that an abandoned car was discovered miles south. Nobody was at the scene. But police checked the vehicle for fingerprints—and they got a direct match for Matt Clark!
Is Dark Matt Back to Terrorize Sharon?
Speaking of Matt, is dark Matt officially back and ready to come out to play? In the Y&R weekly preview, he is seen sneaking right into Sharon Collins’ cottage. He takes every step carefully so no one hears him coming.
Should we be worried about Sharon? Is Matt there to make amends again? Or is he creeping around to cause real trouble? Either way, Sharon better watch out!
Do you think Lily’s cancer has officially returned? What do you think Matt is really up to at the cottage? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
That’s it for your Young and the Restless spoilers preview for the week of October 12-16, 2026.
