The Young and the Restless alum Alyvia Alyn Lind is staying booked and very busy! According to reports, Lind has been cast as a lead opposite Olivia Colman, Brie Larson, and Shawn Hatosy in Cry Wolf, FX’s new limited series created by Sarah Treem.
The series, based on the Danish drama Ulven Kommer (Cry Wolf) by Maja Jul Larsen, is a psychological family thriller that follows social worker Kath and a mother, April, who are thrown into crisis when April’s teenage daughter, Mia (played by Alyvia Alyn Lind), accuses someone of abuse. The allegation pushes both women to their emotional limits as they navigate an impossible, high-stakes situation.
Cry Wolf is executive produced by Treem (who also serves as showrunner), Olivia Colman via her South of the River Pictures, Melissa Bernstein of Special Interests, and Brie Larson. It is produced by FX Productions.
Alyvia Alyn Lind
Soap fans will remember Lind for her run as Faith Newman on The Young and the Restless. She played the role from 2011–2021. Lind also portrayed 9-year-old Dolly Parton in the TV movies Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors and Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.
Beyond daytime, she starred as Angelica Green in Netflix’s Daybreak. Plus, she played Lexy Cross in the SyFy/USA horror series Chucky (2021–2024).
Lind is the youngest daughter of actress Barbara Alyn Woods and producer John Lind. She comes from a very acting-forward family. Her sisters Natalie Alyn Lind and Emily Alyn Lind are both actresses as well.
In September 2025, she appeared alongside Toni Collette in the Netflix series Wayward, playing the role of Leila. Throughout her time on Y&R, Lind earned herself three Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series.
