Here’s some exciting news for daytime fans — Sean Carrigan, best known for playing Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn on The Young and the Restless, has just welcomed his first child with fiancée Jazmin Tempske.

The couple proudly announced the arrival of their daughter, Susan Maxine Carrigan, born on August 25, 2025, via a press release. Both mom and baby are doing great, and the new family is soaking up every special moment together.

Soap Stars React to Sean Carrigan’s Big News

Back in June, Sean and Jazmin shared the news that they were expecting. Since then, fans and fellow soap stars have flooded the comments with love and congratulations.

Redaric Williams (Tyler Michaelson) wrote, “Major congrats brother, lucky little one on the way, you’re definitely gonna be an awesome dad!!”

Robert Adamson (ex-Noah Newman) added, “Aw man!! Congratulations brother!! Little fighter on the way!! So happy for you dude.”

Finola Hughes (Anna Devane, General Hospital) kept it short and sweet: “Best news evah!!!!!!”

Tamara Clatterbuck (Alice Johnson) shared, “Congrats to you both!!!!”

Sean Carrigan is more than just a fan-favorite soap star. He’s also a producer, stand-up comedian, and former pro boxer. But it’s his role as “Stitch” on The Young and the Restless that made him a household name in the daytime world.

Since leaving Y&R, Carrigan has done numerous gigs. Those include roles in series such as NCIS Hawai’i, Almost Friday TV, All American, S.W.A.T., and On the Verge. Outside of that, he’s done films such as Small Engine Repair, 1-800-Hot-Nite, Grace Point, Caller 102: A Ballad of Cyberspace, and more.
