Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap February 27, 2024:
Phyllis is at Crimson Lights, filled with joy at the sight of Amanda, who is currently in town. Amanda happily informs her that she can come to visit now that there are various transportation options available. Their conversation takes a humorous turn when Phyllis playfully considers stowing away in Amanda’s suitcase to live in her guest room.
Intrigued, Phyllis asks why Amanda has returned to town. Amanda discloses that she’s temporarily filling in for Jill, overseeing operations at Chancellor-Winters. The conversation then shifts to Amanda’s mother, and Phyllis expresses her condolences, lamenting that Amanda should have had more time with her.

Nate and Mamie meet at Society for lunch. Mamie had a fine trip, but she’s concerned about Chancellor-Winters and what she’s heard. She feels there might be some internal discord and wants to ensure everyone is truly working as a team. Esther hinted at something in the air, that would not sit well with John Abbott and Neil Winters. Nate reveals that there’s tension between Devon and Billy, with Billy proposing to add Abbott to the company’s name. Mamie is firm that this proposal won’t be entertained.
The conversation shifts to Chance’s idea, which was supported by Devon but opposed by Billy for no valid reason. Mamie suggests that keeping Chance on their side could work to their advantage in the power play. Nate emphasizes that Chance should not be a mere pawn, and Mamie observes that Jill has declared war, and they cannot back down. Despite Nate’s warning, Mamie is determined to fight for what’s best for their family and take full control of the family company.

Chance arrives to retrieve a file, and Billy asks if everything is okay. He clarifies that his response to the proposal did not accurately reflect the potential of the idea. He believes it to be something the company will eagerly embrace in the future. Chance asserts the need to resolve certain issues promptly. He confronts Billy, indicating his awareness that the idea was indeed promising, but he sensed a shift during the meeting – an unsettling dynamic between Billy and Devon.
Billy denies any power struggle, attributing their interactions to a quest for equilibrium. Chance expresses his fondness for the workplace but adamantly refuses to be manipulated by either of them. Billy is accused of leveraging Chance’s pitch against Devon.
Dismissing the accusation, Billy suggests that Chance may be taking things too personal. Chance stresses his displeasure at being embroiled in a power struggle, while Billy denies exploiting him in such a manner. Amanda arrives and Chance leaves, compelling her to question Billy about the situation. She reminds him that Chance is Jill’s grandson and if there are issues, they should be addressed immediately.
On his way out, Chance encounters Abby, who immediately senses something’s up. Inquiring about it, Chance mentions his struggle to work with Billy Abbott. Abby follows him to Crimson Lights, where she discloses her upcoming role as a member of the Chancellor-Winters board. As Dominic’s other guardian, she wants to ensure that he is happy.

Tucker wakes up in his suite and realizes Audra is not there. Downstairs at the GCAC, Kyle, Jack, and Diane are having a meal when Jack shares that Ashley now believes she was mistaken about the Paris incident. Jack is relieved that she may find peace, but he’s concerned she might be vulnerable to that man again. Kyle and Diane agree that Ashley is capable of handling this on her own. Jack is determined not to let that man hurt his sister again when he notices Tucker coming downstairs.
Tucker takes a seat at the bar, and Jack confronts him, saying, “You’re like a demon we can’t seem to exorcise.” Tucker jokingly orders two glasses of the finest holy water. Jack warns him it’s not a joke and brings up what happened in Paris and how Ashley has changed her mind about it. He suggests Tucker leave town and never come back. Tucker blames Jack for all the family issues, but Jack denies it. Tucker calls him pathetic, but Jack points out that he’s having lunch with his wife and son while his own son has cut him out of his life, so who is the pathetic one now?

Jack cautions Tucker to stay away from his sister and makes it clear that he will not hesitate to take tough measures if necessary.
Meanwhile, Diane expresses deep concern to Kyle about Tucker remaining a problem for them despite being publicly humiliated. She worries about the potential influence he could have on Ashley and Jack, and how it could impact the company. Kyle intuits that this is not solely about the company, but about Jack reconnecting with Nikki.

Diane openly admits her fears that Jack helping Nikki could reignite his addiction struggles. She suggests they focus on their upcoming marketing meeting or continuing their recent talk where he confessed to struggling with resentment over her promotion as Co-CEO.
Jack joins them and reveals that he warned Tucker to stay away from Ashley. They question why provoke Tucker, but Jack explains that he wants Tucker to cross the line so they can take decisive action against him.
Worked up Audra pays a visit to Ashley to set things straight. She informs Ashley that Tucker disclosed her visit to his suite last night. She emphasizes their commitment to honesty in their relationship.

Audra asserts her position and warns Ashley that she has deeply hurt Tucker for the last time. She makes it clear that if Ashley attempts to seduce him as part of a malicious agenda, she will have to face the consequences. Revealing Tucker’s plan to take her to Paris, Audra receives a caution from Ashley about the specific cafe to avoid. Audra intentionally pushes Ashley’s buttons, leading to Ashley showing her the door.
Audra returns to the GCAC suite and pours herself a drink when Tucker knocks on the door. He inquires if she is celebrating, and wants to celebrate with her. Tucker reveals that she needs to start practicing her French because they will be leaving in 3 days. He questions her about her whereabouts and whether she went to confront Ashley. In response, Audra asserts that she will not allow Ashley to come between them.

Jack, Diane, and Kyle return home to find Ashley there. Jack asks how Ashley’s doing and she says she is okay. Ashley states that everything is finally going her way as she prepares to head out, mentioning an idea she needs to explore at the Jabot office. As she leaves, Diane reassures Jack that there’s nothing to worry about, as Ashley has clearly moved on from Tucker. However, outside, Ashley contacts Tucker to asks if they can meet for a drink.
