Ahead of World Mental Health Day, The Kids Mental Health Foundation, in collaboration with the Creative Artists Agency Foundation—the philanthropic arm of a premier entertainment and sports agency—hosted an impactful panel focused on children’s mental health. This event took place on October 9, 2024, at the Creative Artists Agency Offices in Los Angeles, featuring notable attendees including Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), Judah Mackey (Connor), and Mark Grossman (Adam), who came together to support Jush Griffith, the Head Writer of The Young and the Restless, who is recognized for crafting the compelling storyline surrounding Connor Newman’s (Mackey) OCD diagnosis. Griffith was one of the panelists for the evening.

The panel, “Voices for Change: Leveraging Platforms to Support Children’s Mental Health,” gathered industry leaders from entertainment, business, and mental health advocacy to examine the powerful role of storytelling, corporate responsibility, and community initiatives can help in bolstering the mental well-being of children.
