A number of stars from The Young and the Restless (Y&R) teamed up with Project Angel Food, turning up the compassion dial to levels as they whipped up extra meals for fire relief efforts. Brad Bassey, the head of communications and talent relations at Project Angel Food, declared on Instagram, “Man, these people aren’t only some of TV’s brightest stars, but they are true humanitarians.”
Among the culinary superheroes conjuring up 3,000 meals for those battling illness or mobility issues due to the fires were Lauralee Bell (Christine), Zuleyka Silver (Audra), Sean Dominic (Nate), Hayley Erin (Claire), Mark Grossman (Adam), Conner Floyd (Chance), Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren), Courtney Hope (Sally), and Kate Linder (Esther)! Also with them was Matt Kane (Y&R’s publicist).
