Young and Restless Y&R Recap April 15, 2024:
Daniel and Phyllis are at Society, chatting about how Lily axed him from Chancellor-Winters. He really wanted to keep Princess Louisa, but Lily shut it down, so he straight up threatened to sue her. Phyllis insists she supports him one hundred percent.
Daniel didn’t want his drama to mess with her, but she reminds him that he’s the best thing that happened to the company. She thinks she should maybe just go in and quit and take the whole team with her but Daniel advises her against it. Phyllis teases about new opportunities, but when Daniel asks for details, she plays it close to the chest. He starts prying about stuff with Danny, but she shuts it down. She tells him that she is now moving on.
Young and Restless Y&R Recap April 15, 2024:
At the apartment, Danny tells Christine they’ve got the whole place to themselves. He starts talking about their big day tomorrow and pulls out the itinerary. Christine informs him there’s one problem. She’s worried about letting him down because she got a call from an old colleague who wants her to represent someone in a case that could take months.
She was psyched for their adventure, but as an attorney, she’s got a once-in-a-lifetime case on her hands. She’s torn about what to do, but he tells her he can’t decide for her. He promises not to hold her back and advises her to sleep on it. He suggests they make the most of their last night together for a while, and they start kissing and making out.
The Party
At the Jazz Lounge, Nick and Victor are chatting about Jordan. Meanwhile, Jack is checking on Nikki. She assures him that she’s doing okay.
Jack remarks that a booze-free party can be tough for someone in recovery, but he’s proud of her. Nikki tells him not to be proud because even though the party is alcohol-free, she’s not. She admits that she snuck off to her vodka bottle and convinced herself that she could control how much she drinks, at least until after the party.
She confides in him that they planned the party as a way to lure Jordan out of hiding. Victor approaches and asks what’s going on, and they both assure him that everything’s fine.
Young and Restless Y&R Recap April 15, 2024:
Adam genuinely apologizes to Sally, who reassures him that there is absolutely nothing for him to apologize for. Adam wishes he could hear from Connor. Sally understands and asks what she can do to be of assistance.
They decide to leave the party and head upstairs. Up there, Adam inquires about her vision for the next 40 years. Adam expresses his belief that they could easily spend the next four decades together. Opening up about his desire for their connection to be enduring, they share a meaningful kiss and make out.
The Lucky Charm
Claire leaves the party. Jordan creeps and trails after her. Kyle and Harrison arrive home at the Abbott Mansion. Harrison notices that his lucky charm is missing. He’s freaking out, saying he can’t sleep without it. They search everywhere—the car, outside—but cannot find it. Kyle tells Harrison to go upstairs while he buzzes Summer to see if the charm was left on the party table, but she doesn’t see it.
Claire drops by and shows the lucky charm saying “Missing someone”. Kyle calls her a hero. She explains that she could not sleep when she lost her lucky charm as a kid. She explains how she lost it and why she lied to Harrison about what really happened.
Young and Restless Y&R Recap April 15, 2024:
Claire is about to leave since it’s getting late, but Kyle insists she stay. When Harrison comes down. Upon learning Claire brought his lucky charm, he thanks her for finding it. Kyle then sends Harrison upstairs, and Harrison reminds him about promising him a book, and asks if Claire can read it to him.
Claire is unsure, but Kyle gives her the okay. As they head upstairs, Kyle calls Summer to let her know that Claire brought the lucky charm and is now upstairs reading a story to Harrison.
Upstairs, as Harrison goes to use the bathroom, Jordan suddenly appears and knocks Claire out. Later, Kyle is frantically making a phone call for help when his parents walk in. He tells them that he believes Claire took Harrison.
Phyllis shows up at the Jazz Lounge, and Nick starts questions her about how she even get in when she’s not on the guest list. Then Summer joins the scene, and Phyllis is all mysterious about some big plan she’s got brewing.
