Y&R Recap March 1, 2024: Today on The Young and the Restless – Victor makes a promise to Victoria, Nikki learns shocking news, and Phyllis has a proposition for Danny.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 1, 2024:
Christine and Nina meet at Society. Nina reveals that she’s in town for a few days because of some meetings in New York. She took the opportunity to swing by and check on Chance and how he’s doing at Chancellor-Winters. She’s relieved that her son’s got a job where he won’t be dodging bullets.
Christine Is Fed Up!
Christine tells Nina that her visit couldn’t have come at a better time because she really needs a friend right now. It’s all about Danny, and it’s all Phyllis’ fault. Christine vents about how Phyllis has been getting on her nerves, and Nina advises her not to back down. She can’t let Phyllis get the upper hand. But Christine points out that she’s also blaming Danny.
Nina suggests creating some distance and letting Danny know he’s at risk of losing her again. Then it will be up to him to step up and make things right. Nina believes that once he sees Christine pulling away, he’ll realize his mistake and get his act together.
For Christine, it’s time to set some boundaries. She decides it’s time to break the cycle and calls Danny, but she only reaches his voicemail. She leaves a message asking if they can grab drinks or dinner tonight.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 1, 2024:
At the GCAC, Phyllis eavesdrops on Danny having a chat on the phone about some trip plans. Once he ends the call, she butts in and asks if he’s jetting off just as they’re patching things up. Danny reminds her that he has no romantic feelings for her and that they are not getting back together.
Phyllis desperately wants to sway him out of going on tour, but he’s dead-set on it, saying everything’s good to go. She says her loss is his fans’ gain as he reveals that he’s leaving in two weeks. She pleads for a pre-departure dinner, no strings attached, but he’s not so keen on the idea. After some convincing, he reluctantly agrees.
Phyllis insists on tonight, and then drops some news. He’s thinking she wants a fancy dinner, but she throws him a curveball: she wants him to cook for her. She wants his famous sauce and pasta, just like Christine got.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 1, 2024:
As Nikki gets to the office with one of the guards, she notices some flowers and assumes they’re from Victor. But when she reads the note, it says, “Thanks you for being a friend still. Best Seth.” She asks Larry to go in the foyer while she gives Seth a call to thank him for the flowers. He tells her that what she’s done for him means a lot, and then he notes that he has some news. He suggests meeting up at Crimson Lights, and she agrees, with the condition that her bodyguard sticks around.
Nikki Meets With Seth!
Nikki rocks up at Crimson Lights with her bodyguard and gives Esther a greeting. Esther’s all curious about the bodyguard, wondering if Nikki’s in some kind of trouble. Nikki’s quick to reassure her that everything’s cool. She orders coffee for herself and Larry, then heads outside to meet Seth. Seth asks what’s the deal with the bodyguard and if it is related to that woman and the vodka incident.
Nikki confirms and talks about the escaped con and how she’s still out to get the family. She brushes off the topic and asks Seth about his big news instead. It turns out he’s going to rehab, and Nikki’s totally supportive and thinks it’s awesome that he’s taking charge of his recovery. The conversation turns to Isabelle, but Nikki’s drawing a blank. As Seth explains, she’s still lost, and the description doesn’t ring any bells.
Seth mentions that Isabelle was the one who pushed him to reconnect, and Nikki’s puzzled. She asks him to describe her to him, but the description doesn’t match anyone she knows. Nikki’s now thinking the woman might’ve been in disguise, and Seth admits it’s a possibility. Nikki’s on a mission now; she tells Seth to play along with the woman’s texts, not to ignore her, and then report back to her with all the details.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 1, 2024:
Over at the Ranch, Victor shows up and finds out that Victoria and Cole just gave Claire a tour of the place. Claire thinks it’s like a fantasy and she’s super stoked to be staying there. Victor assures her that once the saga with Jordan is over, she can decide where she wants to stay. “You’re a Newman, that’s never going to change,” he tells her. Claire hopes she can live up to his trust in her.
The conversation shifts to Jordan, and Victor notes that the news of Claire’s release has already spread in the media, and once her aunt sees it, she’ll react. Victor talks about making Claire’s Newman identity public. Victoria says it’s their way of publicly welcoming her into the family.
Claire then asks why Nikki isn’t around and if she’s okay with her moving in. Victor says Nikki is cool with it, but she’s out at the moment. Victor and Cole leave while Victoria and Claire chat. Claire thinks Victoria still has an issue with this arrangement, but Victoria explains she’s just concerned about her dad’s plan. Claire then starts inquiring about her siblings, wanting to know everything about them.
Nikki’s Plan!
Nikki shows up and greets Claire in her new home. She apologizes for not being there to welcome her when she arrived and hopes Claire will be very happy there. Victor returns, talking about everything being ready and it’s time to move forward. He hands Claire a phone and says it’s monitored as per the judge’s ruling.
Claire wonders how her aunt will know to contact her on the phone. Nikki then says she may have a way for her to reach out to her aunt, and if she’s right, Jordan may have slipped up for another time.
Still at the dive bar, Jordan’s scrolling through the web like, “Alright Claire, where are you now?” She stumbles upon the press release about Claire getting out of Memorial. She’s mad that Cole and Victoria are swooping in and making her part of their family. Jordan’s getting ready to bail when Seth rolls up and asks her what she’s hiding and what she’s up to with Nikki.
