Y&R Recap March 27, 2024: Today on The Young and the Restless – Daniel and Heather worry about their future, Adam and Chelsea disagree on how to help Connor, and Lily takes charge at the office.

Young and Restless Y&R Recap March 27, 2024:
Daniel talks with Heather about why Lucy is freaking out about introducing them to this guy. He adds that no dad in his right mind would let his daughter go to prom with some dude he’s never met.
Then Heather asks, for argument’s sake, what if he met the guy and didn’t like him? Would he really tell Lucy she can’t go with him? Heather switches the conversation to Chancellor-Winters. Daniel thinks they should head to the office separately instead of going together, like they’re trying to stick it to Lily.
With everything that’s going on, Heather starts to think if Daniel has any regrets. He assures her that he doesn’t and points out that the Omega Sphere has truly served its purpose by bringing both Lucy and Heather back into his life.
He promises that no matter what happens at Chancellor-Winters, he’ll be okay. But he’s more concerned about her because she came back to GC mainly for the job offer at Chancellor-Winters.
Heather mentions she’s feeling pretty optimistic because she could find a job somewhere in town. She suggests that he could go back to school to get his law degree. With this, they could set up shop somewhere. They huddle together and start kissing. Daniel suggests they could keep working together by opening one of those fancy art law boutiques.
Young and Restless Y&R Recap March 27, 2024:
Lily and Devon grab lunch at Society and start chatting. She tells him this lunch was a great idea because it’s helping take her mind off Heather and Daniel. She’s already thinking about what she’s going to face when she goes back to the office.
Devon tries to reassure her that she doesn’t need to see them, but Lily insists because she asked Esther to set up a meeting with them to fill her in on what she missed while she was away. Then, she reveals that she thinks it’s best for the company to let go of Daniel and Heather. Right at that moment, Billy walks in and, curious as ever, asks what he’s walked into.
Lily’s Decision
Lily and Devon explain that they were discussing the possibility of ending Heather and Daniel’s contract, but they don’t want to get into the details just yet. Billy, feeling left out, insists he deserves to know more, especially since he was voted onto the board the same day as Abby. He adds that he wouldn’t have known anything about the decision if he hadn’t overheard their conversation.
Billy questions whether there is a practical reason behind Lily’s decision to fire Daniel. As he looks at her face, he wonders if something happened between Daniel and Heather that led her to make this choice.
Young and Restless Y&R Recap March 27, 2024:
Devon asks Billy to drop the topic, but he persists. Billy mentions that Lily wants to fire Daniel and Heather because of something that happened between them. Lily admits that she and Daniel had broken up. Billy expresses his sympathies for her and acknowledges the pain she must be going through.
However, Billy notes that the company could face wrongful termination lawsuits. Devon tells him they don’t need to worry about that because he sorted it out with Daniel and knows it’s his fault.
Billy tells Lily not to let her emotions cloud her judgment and to think about it from a professional angle. Then he bails, and Devon is there, saying Billy has a point, but Lily’s not having any of it. She points out that Billy is not one to lecture her about keeping emotions out of business.
Lily’s made up her mind and walks out just as Abby shows up, totally confused. Devon fills her in, but Abby’s adamant that Billy’s off base and thinks Heather and Daniel should get the boot.
Chelsea and Adam
Chelsea and Adam are at Crismon Lights, sorting out stuff about Connor and brainstorming ways to ensure he gets all his favorite foods. Adam feels like they should be happy that Connor is back home, as it’s been ages since they’ve seen him smile like that when he walked into Chelsea’s place.
He’s starting to think that sending him off to that school might have been more of a setback than a solution. On the other hand, Chelsea thinks the school noticed things they wouldn’t have. She mentions that the first thing Connor did when he got to her place was check if she’d changed anything in his room.
She points out that Connor is still fixated on numbers and obsessed with germs. Adam suggests they could try getting him treatment locally, but Chelsea thinks they need to consider what’s best for their son, even though she knows Adam is struggling with the diagnosis, just like she is.
Young and Restless Y&R Recap March 27, 2024:
While Adam wants a second opinion, Chelsea is urging him to support her in finding the right treatment for their son. She believes they need to work together. This is in an effort to show Connor that his diagnosis is not a monster that he cannot beat.
Chelsea has found a facility in Maryland that she thinks would be perfect for Connor, but Adam is still hesitant. However, after reviewing the information and liking the facility, Adam is willing to move forward and do whatever it takes to help their son.
Billy shows up, and Adam learns Chelsea consulted with him about the facility. Adam starts wondering if this is an ambush, but Chelsea notes she just emailed Billy to get his opinion, and that’s all. Adam agrees that they must do whatever they have to help Connor.
Heather and Daniel head to Crimson Lights. Daniel suggests resigning or stalling the meeting, but then Lily shows up. She comes over and says she was going to wait until they got to the office. But then she tells them that she and Devon have decided to end their contracts right away. Daniel apologizes for the situation, but Lily tells him he should’ve considered that before betraying her.
