Y&R Recap March 28, 2024: Today on The Young and the Restless – Nikki confides in Jack, Sally gives Adam some moral support, and Diane and Kyle navigate their relationship at Jabot.

Young and Restless Y&R Recap March 28, 2024:
At Crimson Lights, Connor is having a hot chocolate, telling his parents that it’s way better than the ones at the school. Chelsea and Adam fill him in on checking out the treatment center Dr. Alcott suggested, saying it seems pretty cool. It’s in Maryland, and super humid there.
Adam makes it clear it’s a place for people with OCD, not a “hospital for sick people.” Connor shrugs, saying he’s not interested. Chelsea suggests they all check out the website together and get his opinion.
Connor’s worried about being forgotten, but his parents reassure him. He reluctantly agrees to give the place a try, but wants to make sure he won’t be forced to stay. Chelsea promises they won’t make him stay if he really doesn’t like it, but Adam insists he has to give it a fair shot.
Connor reluctantly agrees. Adam quickly calls the facility and secures the last available bed, stressing they need to move fast. Connor insists he needs to make a list of things to bring. Chelsea promises to take care of it. Before leaving, Adam makes sure Connor knows he’s loved. As they leave, Sally enters the Crimson Lights.
Sally Gives Adam Some Moral Support
Adam tells Sally that Connor just decided to go to the facility. He opens up to Sally about how tough it is for him to see his son going through this.
Sally reassures him that he’s doing the right thing for his son. When Chelsea comes back, she thanks Sally for all the support she’s been giving Adam.
After Chelsea leaves again, Adam wants to update Newman that he has to leave town again, but Sally promises to do it for him and reminds him that he needs to focus on his son.
Young and Restless Y&R Recap March 28, 2024:
Victoria and Claire are having a chill day, finally free from all the stress. Victoria suggests they hit the road and do something normal now that they don’t have to worry about Jordan.
Claire proposes they start by grabbing lunch without any security guards. Victoria recommends checking out Society. Just then, Nikki walks in and reveals that Jordan had a seizure. Thankfully, she’s stable, but this medical drama is stalling her transfer to maximum security.
Claire suspects it’s a sneaky move by Jordan to delay her transfer, knowing full well what she was doing when she took that poison. Jack pops in and senses something is up.
Victoria and Claire make a swift exit while Nikki fills Jack in on the basement showdown with Jordan. Nikki’s worried that her split-second decision to save Jordan could backfire on her.
Nikki Confides In Jack
Jack reassures her, reminding her that she followed her heart. Suddenly, Nikki panics at a sound, thinking it’s Jordan. Jack wants to investigate, but Victoria shouts out explaining that her purse got stuck in a chair. She apologizes and says they are on their way out.
Jack notices Nikki trembling and she confesses that she and Claire were swapping stories to keep their minds off things. To lift her spirits, Jack distracts her with updates about Jabot and shares that Ashley is struggling with her breakup from Tucker McCall. Nikki advises him to let Ashley handle it herself. After their heart-to-heart, Nikki thanks Jack for helping her escape her own thoughts for a while.
Nikki is startled when the phone rings and the person on the other end totally shocks her by telling her that Jordan escaped from the hospital.
Young and Restless Y&R Recap March 28, 2024:
Diane comes home and finds Kyle with a little workstation in the living room. Kyle mentions that he had to pick up Harrison from school. She asks for Harrison and Kyle tells her he’s grabbing a snack with Mrs. Martinez, giving him a chance to get a few things done.
He explains that he’ll have to pick up Harrison from school until they find a new nanny. Funny enough, his son was asking why he can’t be the full-time nanny.
Diane and Kyle Argue
Diane is impressed, but she also points out that while Kyle was busy with that, he was also busy showing her up at work by doing her job too. She tells him she just came from the office, where she learned that he had rewritten some of the presentations for a project that she has been spearheading.
She wonders why he would do that without talking to her first, and she thinks he was deliberately trying to show her up. Kyle insists he wasn’t doing that, he just thought her presentations sounded a bit rushed and he cleaned them up a bit for her.
Diane gets really upset, saying it’s not the first time. She tells him he’s been scrutinizing her work since the day she took the position. She reminds him that she’s his superior and he’s supposed to report to her, not the other way around.
Kyle apologizes, saying she should forgive him if he overstepped. Diane also apologizes and explains that she had some building concerns that should have been addressed sooner. She suggests they get some lunch and discuss this, but Kyle leaves, claiming he has to get to the office.
Jack gets home and Diane tells him about her and Kyle’s issue. She tells him that things got pretty intense between her and their son, and it looks like he’s not too happy about her getting the promotion.
She thinks it’s really bothering him to see her in his position. Jack reckons that Diane and Kyle will figure it out. He suggests that they need to sort it out themselves.
Young and Restless Y&R Recap March 28, 2024:
Victoria and Claire go to Society. She starts asking Claire what she would’ve studied if she hadn’t had someone controlling her life. Victoria reveals that her other great passion besides business is art. Claire mentions she loves hitting up museums for the art.
Just as Victoria has to take a call and steps away, Kyle shows up. Claire invites Kyle to take a seat and he warns her to be careful because she might regret the offer.
Despite the warning, he begins prying and asking Claire questions about her past. She thinks someone warned him about her, and now he’s trying to figure out how terrible a person she is.
She suspects he’s learned a lot more about her story. Kyle admits he did find out more about her life. Claire tells him he doesn’t know the whole story and suggests that after what he’s learned, he should go and protect himself. However, Kyle gives her the opportunity to tell her side of the story.
