Y&R Recap March 4, 2024: Today on The Young and the Restless – Danny and Christine decide their future, Chelsea and Adam receive information to help Connor, and Billy opens up about his past struggles.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 4, 2024:
Adam, Chelsea, and Billy are with Connor, trying to figure out what to eat. Connor asks if he’s in trouble because they’re all together or if something’s really wrong with him.
They reassure him that he’s not in trouble and that he’s actually going to see a psychiatrist who can help him through whatever he’s going through. Dr. Alcott (played by Catherine Dyer) comes out and introduces herself, inviting Connor and one of his parents (his mom) in.
Adam, who actually wants to be the one to go in, catches himself before expressing his thoughts. After they go in, Billy suggests checking if Dr. Alcott has any extra slots available because Adam clearly needs to get himself in check. Billy is convinced that Connor can pick up on his dad’s attitude.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 4, 2024:
Billy and Adam just won’t stop squabbling about his place in Connor’s life. He knows it’s tough on Adam and tries to nudge him in the right direction for his son. After some back-and-forth, Adam asks Billy if he ever sought help during his rough patch. Billy goes deep, even admitting to having a breakdown.
Adam presses for more details, but Billy is hesitant, insisting that Adam needs to keep his focus on his son. Eventually, Billy opens up about his breakdown, expressing regret for trying to run Adam over with his car after Delia died. He’s grateful for Kevin and Chloe for saving him from making a huge mistake.
Billy shares that he sought therapy afterward and has been feeling stronger and more grounded ever since. Adam also chimes in about his own experiences in therapy.
Dr. Alcott is talking to Connor, and he explains that he’s been having these scary thoughts all day that come out of nowhere, and he can’t focus at all. He says the thoughts just keep coming, no matter who’s teaching or talking. And the scariest part is that he’s worried something bad will happen to his parents, and it will be his fault. Then Dr. Alcott tells Connor to go sit with Billy while she chats with his parents for a while.

While Connor chills with Billy, Dr. Alcott tells Adam and Chelsea that their son is showing all the signs of someone with OCD. She’s going to shoot them both an email with tons of information.
At the moment, his symptoms ain’t out of the ordinary. They have to take the steps that Connor needs to handle this thing because there’s no cure. Chelsea tells Adam they can’t freak out or do anything that’ll get in the way of helping their son.
Later, Chelsea and Adam explain to Connor that he has OCD, but it can be sorted out. He asks if he’ll be alright, and his parents promise that he will be.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 4, 2024:
At Crimson Lights, Nina is cheering up Christine, who admits she doesn’t want to give up on Danny. Nina tells her not to bring up Phyllis when Danny calls. Christine is worried that the competition with Phyllis is scaring Danny away. Nina tells her to forget about Phyllis and focus on her time with Danny. Then Danny enters and announces his upcoming tour. Christine is shocked and asks if he’s really ready to give up on them.
A Kiss!
After Nina leaves, Christine and Danny talk on the patio. She tries to make him see that Phyllis is coming between them. They are about to kiss, but Danny gets a text from Phyllis, saying they’re all set for 10 pm at Society.
Christine takes his phone and sees that the text is from Phyllis. She says Phyllis will never give up. Danny explains that Phyllis won’t give up unless he stops her. Christine reminds him of when he said he wanted her and asks if he meant it. He kisses her and reassures her that he meant it from the bottom of his heart.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 4, 2024:
Phyllis goes up to Abby at Society and asks to rent out the restaurant and even the kitchen for the evening. Abby flat-out says no, pointing out that she’s fully booked with reservations already.
Phyllis implores Abby. She emphasizes the significance of the situation. Feeling the weight of the request, Abby asks if she is expected to cancel all her prior reservations for Phyllis. Despite Phyllis’s assurance of a substantial financial incentive, Abby remains steadfast. Undeterred, Phyllis resorts to emotional persuasion, accusing Abby of harboring animosity and insinuating that her refusal is based on personal feelings rather than the merits of the request. She goes as far as suggesting that had it been someone else, Abby would have acquiesced.
Abby Agrees!
Finally, Abby gives in and says she’ll figure something out for later in the week, but Phyllis insists it has to be tonight. Abby asks who the “prey” is, and Phyllis responds there isn’t one. She also adds that even if she did tell Abby, she’d mock her like everyone else in town.
Phyllis promptly withdraws her request. Subsequently, Phyllis orders a martini and indulges in thoughts of dining with Danny. However, Abby interrupts Phyllis’s daydream to announce that she;s had a change of mind. With the final reservation set for 8:30, Abby offers the restaurant to Phyllis at 10, albeit she must pay her staff double.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 4, 2024:
Phyllis exudes confidence as she declares that she doesn’t need the staff, as her “prey” will be bringing the food and she has the drinks covered. When Abby points out that someone needs to be there to lock up, Phyllis casually agrees to pay the staff double. She graciously thanks Abby for changing her mind.
