Y&R Recap March 6, 2024: Today on The Young and the Restless – Victor and Nikki receive disturbing news, Danny sets the record straight with Phyllis, and sparks fly between Summer and Chance.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 6, 2024:
Phyllis arrives at Society, where Abby admits she was secretly hoping Phyllis wouldn’t show up. “Stop; I’m paying you handsomely for this,” Phyllis reminds her. Abby concurs, hoping it will be worth it. “Well, if tonight goes as planned, this could be the start of something really amazing,” Phyllis adds. Abby acknowledges that Phyllis hasn’t fully disclosed the details earlier. “I’m having dinner with Danny Romalotti. He’s making his special pasta with his special sauce,” Phyllis reveals.
Abby realizes that Danny’s going to be cooking for Phyllis at the restaurant. She figures he’s not keen on being alone with her and would rather have an audience. Phyllis thinks it’s absurd and grills Abby about the diners, wondering if they can be kicked out. Abby insists they’re into each other, and she doesn’t want to intrude. Phyllis keeps pushing, even offering to buy them a drink somewhere else, but Abby shuts her down, telling her not to make her change her mind.
Meanwhile, outside, Danny shows up with Christine. He tells her she doesn’t have to come and asks if she really wants to tag along. Christine explains that she doesn’t trust Phyllis as far as she can throw her. He asks if she trusts him, and she says yes, but with Phyllis in the mix, anything can happen, and it’s never good.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 6, 2024:
Danny acknowledges that he gets it, but he feels like he should have a private chat with Phyllis. But Christine thinks Phyllis will manipulate everything he says. She believes he needs an audience, so Phyllis can’t plant a kiss on him and claim he started it like she always does. He agrees and pleads with Christine to give him a head start to see if he can smooth things over first.
She is all happy to see Danny showing up, but then Christine walks in and ruins the mood for her. Phyllis asks what is she doing there while reminding Danny that they were supposed to have a private dinner. Phyllis is hoping Danny isn’t breaking his promise, but Christine just comes out and says that he is. Christine shuts down the idea of Phyllis and Danny having a romantic dinner, even though Phyllis insists it was just a friendly goodbye dinner. Danny regrets ever agreeing to the whole thing.
Phyllis asks if he is going to let this jealous woman mess up their evening. Then Danny asks Christine to let him chat with Phyllis alone for a while. He asks her to meet him at Crimson Lights in 15 minutes. On her way out, Christine flaunts that Danny’s sauce is spectacular.

Phyllis is all hyped up when the remaining patrons leave and she’s got the whole restaurant to herself. She brings out a bottle of wine and tries to make a move on Danny. But he shuts it down, making it clear that there’s nothing between them and there never will be. He apologizes if he gave her the wrong idea, and explains that he’s into Christine and just wants to be friends with Phyllis.
Phyllis is convinced that he’s just scared to pursue something with her, but Danny stands his ground. After he heads out, Abby checks in on Phyllis. Phyllis offers her a drink, but Abby passes. Phyllis can’t understand why Danny’s so into Christine instead of her. Abby suggests it’s time for Phyllis to move on, and she agrees, claiming she’ll move on after finishing the bottle. She’s determined to show Christine that she hasn’t won and make her regret it.
Danny Invites Christine on Tour!
Danny meets Christine at Crimson Lights and reveals that he and Christine had a chill conversation. He made it clear that he’s all about friendship vibes only. He’s optimistic that Phyllis is finally coming to terms with the truth, and Christine’s crossing her fingers too. Danny then goes on to ask her to come along on his epic tour.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 6, 2024:
Summer runs into Chance at the GCAC and teases him about being a workaholic. Chance confesses he was thinking about her, and they share a sweet kiss. They decide to have dinner, but Chance suggests something better.
They head upstairs to the suite and Summer offers to order room service. Playfully, Chance asks her what she thinks he’s in the mood for, and she eagerly suggests French fries. She calls in the order, but there’s a wait. Chance doesn’t mind, as long as he’s with Summer. They start making out and end up doing the deed.
After, Summer admits she couldn’t stop thinking about him and was even planning to call him. It seems like fate when they met at the bar. Later when Summer is asleep, Chance receives a text from Devon asking for a more detailed presentation on his music festival idea.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 6, 2024:
Nikki and Victoria show up at the bar. Nikki says the cop outside told her to come in for more information. The officer explains that Mr. Morgan left with the woman, and then people heard screeching tires and a crash. Then, the woman came back in and said the guy jumped in front of the car, saying, “Tell Nikki Newman I’m sorry.”
Nikki’s stunned and thinks it’s all her fault, but Victor says it’s because that maniac is out for revenge, and Seth didn’t jump in front of the car on his own. Victor starts grilling the bar owner about how often he’s seen the woman called “Isabelle” and asks for a description.
Then, he asks the officer to take the glass the woman drank from and get DNA and fingerprints off it. Nikki starts blaming herself again, saying she should’ve been a better friend, but Victor tells her it’s not her fault; it’s all on that crazy woman. Nikki admits that all she wants to do is drink until this crazy thing is over, and she begs Victor to take her home.
Young and Restless (Y&R) Recap March 6, 2024:
Victoria finds Claire looking at photos, and Claire expresses her frustration, blaming Jordan for ruining her life and making her miss out on being in those pictures. Victoria reassures her that there will be new opportunities for creating happy memories and urges her to focus on the future.
However, Claire worries that even if she did become part of the family photo, she might not fit in. She mentions Adam and how he, as an adult, still struggles to fully integrate into the family. Victoria points out that everyone’s story is different and suggests that instead of seeking advice from Adam, Claire should be herself and allow herself to be loved.
Claire doubts that it would be that simple, especially since she feels that someone like Nikki should never forgive her. Victoria acknowledges the challenges but emphasizes that they would work through them together.
Victoria’s House Is On Fire!
Victoria asks why Claire is up late after saying she was exhausted earlier. Claire confesses to struggling to quiet her mind. As the phone rings, Victoria advises her not to answer, but Claire feels compelled to do so. It’s Jordan who says she saw the news about Claire’s release. She warns Claire about the Newmans and accuses them of intending to harm her. Despite the warning, Claire affirms her trust in the Newmans as her family and conveys Victor’s message to her crazy aunt.
After the call, Jordan seethes with anger, scheming to teach them all a lesson. Back at the ranch, Victoria commends Claire for her bravery, but Victor and Nikki arrive with distressing news. Seth is dead. Later, Victoria gets a call that her home is on fire.
