While making a rare personal appearance for a special fan event, soap star Rena Sofer announced that she is moving to New York State. Sofer revealed the news during the event at Rockwells in Pelham, NY, on September 29. As she discussed her iconic roles as General Hospital’s Lois and The Bold & The Beautiful’s Quinn, she shared that her appearances on the East Coast are set to become much more frequent due to the move.
Sofer announced to the audience that she is leaving Los Angeles for New York (State, not City), while assuring her fans that she remains committed to General Hospital where she plays Lois Cerullo. Although she’s not currently under contract with the soap, she is more than willing to commute whenever they call her in to work.
The evening was filled with engaging activities, including a question and answer session, autographs, photo ops, and an exciting raffle. All proceeds from the raffle benefited two charities very dear to Rena Sofer — the animal rescue non-profits Slaughterhouse Survivors and Frankie, Lola, & Friends.
