Nate Drops a Professional Bombshell on Stephanie
The drama kicks off at the Genoa City Athletic Club, where Stephanie is seated for a chat with Nate Hastings. Stephanie informs him that she recently received a very surprising phone call from the board of directors over at Genoa City Memorial Hospital.
She notes that it appears the hospital is actively looking for a new Chief of Staff, and someone apparently put her name in the running.
“That would be me,” Nate proudly tells her.
Victoria Fears the Worst for Nikki’s Health
Also happening at the GCAC, Nikki Newman opens up to Victoria Newman about some painful physical symptoms she has been battling lately.
Nikki attempts to downplay the situation, telling Victoria that she has had these exact type of severe migraines before. She reasons that her personal doctor would probably just say the headaches are an expected symptom of her Multiple Sclerosis, but she already has medication to manage that condition.
Victoria, however, is not pacified by her mother’s excuses. She questions the scary possibility of the migraines being something far more serious than her mother thought.
Adam Stuns Chelsea with a Baby Proposition
Meanwhile, over at Crimson Lights, Adam Newman is about to completely catch Chelsea Lawson off guard.
Adam praises their co-parenting dynamic, admitting that he thinks they have done such a spectacular job raising Connor together. However, he doesn’t stop there.
Taking advantage of the moment, Adam takes a breath and drops a question that completely takes Chelsea by surprise. He asks her if she has ever thought about the two of them having another child together.
