After the world-rocking news about his biological father and Malcolm’s serious illness, Holden is stepping up. He is determined to make sure his dad gets the medical help necessary to survive. In this spoiler photo, Holden arrives in New York City where Malcolm is preparing for a critical bone marrow transplant. Holden isn’t tackling this emotional journey alone, though—he has Claire by his side as they meet up with Stephanie.
While the trip to NYC is fueled by a medical emergency, it also provides a much-needed escape for Holden and Claire. The two manage to find some alone time away from the hospital drama to discuss their future. As they explore new territory together, they share a romantic kiss.
