Daniel Lissing is an Australian actor who was born and raised on the beaches of Sydney, Australia. Lissing was born on October 4, 1981, to parents; Inge Christophers (Mother), who works for Feros Care and Jerry Lissing (Father) who owns a Navy Canteens in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia.
Lissing landed his first U.S role in 2012 and quickly became a popular American actor when he took on the role of Jack Thornton in “When Calls the Heart” in 2014 and played the role until the character’s death in season 5.
