Former All My Children heartthrob Aiden Turner (aka Aidan Devane) is making his way back to our screens—this time on ABC’s High Potential as a guest star!

Turner will appear in the midseason finale as Rhys, who, according to Variety, is described as “a quick-witted, well-tailored art recovery specialist with the tenacity of a prosecutor and the instincts of a seasoned detective.” Equal parts cultured and street-smart, Rhys knows how to navigate the shadowy world of stolen masterpieces like a pro.

The episode airs October 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and will stream the next day on Hulu.

If you haven’t already jumped on the High Potential train, here’s a quick catch-up: The show is an American crime drama created by Drew Goddard and based on the French/Belgian hit HPI.

It stars Kaitlin Olson as Morgan Gillory, a brilliant but unconventional single mom with a 160 IQ who works as a cleaning lady at the LAPD. After solving a high-profile case with her unique thinking, she’s brought on as a consultant, partnered with the by-the-book Detective Adam Karadec. Cue the clash of brains vs. procedure.

And in case you missed it, High Potential was renewed in January 2025, and Season 2 officially premiered on September 16, 2025.

So mark those calendars and don’t miss Aiden Turner in the High Potential Season 2 midseason finale. This is one guest-starring role you’ll definitely want to catch!

So, would you like to see Turner become a series regular on High Potential? Would you like to see him back on daytime soap operas? Leave a comment below, we’d love to hear your thoughts.
