Allison Lanier is celebrating her birthday today!
Lanier shares her birthday, August 4, with her partner in real life, JD Samson. Lanier joined the cast of The Young and the Restless in May 2022, taking over the role of Summer Newman from Hunter King.
Lanier was raised in the Atlanta area and moved to New York City after completing high school to pursue a career in acting and modeling. While in New York, she attended the prestigious William Esper Studio. Her acting credits include a recurring role on Amazon’s Red Oaks, as well as the independent films It Happened in LA and Mia. Apart from acting, she enjoys browsing flea markets, interior design, and volunteering at animal shelters in her local community.
