Actor, Austin Nicholas has booked the role of Clint West on The CW’s Walker.
Walker is an American television series airing on The CW. It is a reboot of the 1993–2001 television series Walker, Texas Ranger. The series was ordered straight to series in January 2020 and stars Jared Padalecki in the titular role and General Hospital alum Lindsey Morgan (ex-Kristina Corinthos). It premiered on January 21, 2021. In February 2021, the series was renewed for a second season.
Nichols will first appear in episode 5 titled Duke which airs on February 18th. In this episode, when his past unexpectedly collides with his present life, Walker is forced to resume his undercover identity to keep his family safe. Micki gets caught up in Walker’s old case. August threatens to blow his father’s cover.
Austin Nichols was raised in Austin, Texas until the age of 18 when he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 2002 with a degree in creative writing. His role in Six Feet Under led to films like The Day After Tomorrow, Wimbledon, and Glory Road. Then after playing Morgan Earp on Deadwood, David Milch asked Austin to play the title role in his new series, John From Cincinnati. Nichols has been on a string of hit cable shows. Ray Donovan, Bates Motel and The Walking Dead.
