B&B Recap: Brooke Advises Hope to Dump Thomas

B&B Recap January 16, 2024: Luna and R.J. decide to take the next step in their relationship. Hope confides in Brooke that she has reservations about Thomas’s past.

Hope informs Thomas that she needs some time to process his confession. Thomas understands her need for space. Hope reminds him that she still sees the man he has become and doesn’t want him to forget that. Thomas responds by saying that he still has hope as long as she wears his ring on her chain. 

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Today

RJ confesses to Luna that all the things she said to his grandad about him make him smile. As they kiss, Brooke enters and apologizes for interrupting their moment. RJ decides that this is the perfect time and reason for him to find his own place. As they kiss again, Carter interrupts them and advises them to lock the door next time. Before leaving, he also leaves behind Eric’s numbers. Luna reminds RJ how much she loves him and how she feels like she grows fonder of him every day.

B&B Recap Today:

Carter tells Ridge that he feels like family as they hug. Brooke enters and apologizes for interrupting everyone today. She then explains that she walked in on RJ and Luna kissing, and she hopes her son wasn’t embarrassed. Ridge comments that they don’t need another office romance, especially involving one of his kids. Carter reminds them that they are the king and queen of office romance. Brooke disagrees, saying that they can’t compare themselves to Hope and Thomas. Carter thinks that’s his cue to leave, so he does. Brooke doesn’t want to debate about their kids, and Ridge suggests they could make out a little to show them how it’s done.

Thomas arrives at the office and Ridge senses that something is wrong. He asks Thomas about it, but Thomas denies that anything is wrong. Then, Ridge asks about Hope, and Thomas tells him that she is amazing and very forgiving. Ridge tells Thomas that the past is behind them, and Thomas hopes that it stays that way. He admits that he is falling more and more in love with Hope and doesn’t want to do anything to mess it up. Ridge assures his son that if their relationship is meant to be, then it will work out. He is proud of the man that Thomas has become and advises him not to worry about Brooke’s opinion, as she is just being a protective mother. Thomas believes that he can give Hope the life she deserves, even though he feels like everyone is against their relationship, especially Brooke.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Today:

Brooke goes to the cabin to visit her kids, but Hope informs her that they are not there. Brooke notices the romantic atmosphere and senses that something is troubling Hope. She then asks her if Thomas did something to her. Hope denies it and reminds her mother that Thomas loves her. However, Brooke expresses her concerns about Thomas, saying that although he claims to have changed, it’s hard for her to believe that her daughter will be able to trust him and commit to him after everything that happened in the past.

While Brooke advises that Hope should dump Thomas if her instincts are telling her to do so, Hope notes that he loves her unconditionally. She advises her mom that, at some point, she will have to stop fighting against their relationship.
