B&B Recap January 18, 2024: Today on The Bold and the Beautiful – Poppy enchants and delights Bill during their second date at Il Giardino. Deacon and Sheila try to wrap their heads around Bill and Poppy.

B&B Recap January 18, 2024: Eric Is Released!

Donna signs the document for Eric’s release. The nurse conveys to him how much they will miss him. Addressing Finn, Eric expresses his gratitude. Finn, however, attributes Eric’s progress to his own diligence and determination. Eric once again thanks Finn for all that he did to make this moment possible.

Ridge and Brooke await Eric’s return at the mansion, engaging in a conversation about Ridge’s almost pulling the plug on his dad. Ridge expresses his hope for forgiveness from Eric. Carter joins them and hopes it is okay that he is there, to which Ridge reassures him that he is family. Eric and Donna arrive, and everyone extends a warm welcome to Eric. Eric shares he was uncertain he would ever step foot back in the mansion. Carter then expresses his gratitude and acknowledges that he wasn’t ready to lose Eric.

Later, Eric explains that upon seeing Stephanie, he experienced a sense of relief from his burdens and physical pain, thereby perceiving it as the ideal opportunity to depart. He confesses his readiness, prompting Ridge to question whether he disappointed his father and made the wrong decision.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Another Date!

At Il Giardino, Sheila and Deacon engage in flirtatious behavior as Bill and Poppy arrive. Deacon remarks on his difficulty in convincing Brooke or Hope to visit the restaurant, contrasting this with Bill’s frequent patronage. Deacon cordially welcomes Bill and Poppy, informing them that Sheila will be attending to their needs. Subsequently, Bill expresses his satisfaction at reuniting with Poppy and expresses his desire to create new memories with her. Bill exhibits discourteous behavior towards Sheila and proceeds to enlighten Poppy about Sheila almost killing her sister.

Sheila attends to Poppy by bringing water and serves Bill a scotch. Bill cautions Poppy about Sheila’s dangerous nature, implying that she could revert to her criminal tendencies and go back to jail. In a lighthearted manner, he suggests that such an event could potentially enhance their date.

Bill reflects on their past as he turns on music, capturing the attention of all the patrons. Poppy requests that he lower the volume, but he challenges her to dance instead. While she dances, Bill is captivated and refers to her as the enchanting surprise that he needed the most. They share a kiss as the onlookers applaud
