B&B Recap January 23, 2024: Today on The Bold and the Beautiful – Hope gives Thomas a decision about their relationship. Luna is stunned to catch her mom and Bill together.

Hope is on a call with her mother when Thomas visits the cabin. He informs her that Douglas has left his math book behind, and he has brought it in case Douglas needs it for his homework. Thomas acknowledges that it has been some time since their last discussion, and expresses his desire to check in. Hope concurs that their previous conversation was intense. They subsequently discuss Eric, expressing their mutual happiness at his return home. Hope refers to Eric as an inspiration to them all.
Thomas expresses his longing for Hope, acknowledging that his confession may have been startling for her. Hope, in turn, admits to being overwhelmed by the recent resurgence of painful memories, stemming from Thomas’s past actions. Despite this, she acknowledges her gratitude for the present and expresses her desire not to be tethered to the past.
Hope also reassures Thomas that her feelings for him have not waned. She tells him that she spoke to her mother and told her not to fight their relationship. Thomas finds her faith in him touching, acknowledging the depth of their shared history. Hope’s continued wearing of the ring on her necklace gives Thomas a sense of optimism. Finally, he expresses his deep love for her, lamenting his longing to kiss her and touch her as they share a kiss.

Poppy and Bill promptly attire themselves upon realizing that RJ and Luna are in the living room. Meanwhile, Luna and RJ engage in an kiss, and Luna becomes convinced that she heard a noise emanating from the bedroom. RJ remains is convinced that there is no one else there but agrees to check the bedroom to be sure. Luna expresses regret for being jumpy, while RJ reassures her of their absolute privacy. Poppy and Bill endeavor to make a discreet departure, but Luna spots her mother on the outside.
Luna questions her mother, while Bill asserts that they were simply strolling around the premises as he was showing her mother around. Subsequently, RJ decides to depart as his moving in has not yet been finalized by Bill. Upon RJ and Luna’s departure, Bill and Poppy share a moment of laughter. Bill then proposes that they now have the premises to themselves, while Poppy ponders whether her daughter was aware of them being in the bedroom. Bill doesn’t think she had a clue. However, he is looking forward to spending more time with her and getting to know Luna. Meanwhile, RJ and Luna go to the office, where she speculates whether her mother witnessed them kissing. She asserts that they can’t seem to catch a break.
