Luna approaches Poppy to question is Bill’ could be her father. Meanwhile, RJ is with Bill at the Beach House finalizing the lease agreement. Bill advises RJ to keep the place nice. RJ takes advantage of the situation to probe for details about Bill’s relationship with Poppy. In response to Luna’s question, Poppy asserts that Bill is not her father. Luna then presses for information regarding her biological father and questions why she is unaware of his identity. She considers the possibility of her mother lying, but Poppy assures her of her love and denies lying.

At the office, Thomas informs his father of his intention to visit Eric. Ridge believes that Eric will appreciate the company. Thomas remarks on Eric’s improving condition, to which Ridge acknowledges but adds that he still has a bit of a way to go. Ridge mentions Eric’s upcoming follow-up appointment and anticipates receiving good news. Shifting the conversation, Ridge inquires about Thomas’s relationship with Hope. Thomas reiterates his love for Hope and asserts his commitment to their relationship.
Thomas acknowledges that potential obstacles from the past can be effectively addressed with honesty. Subsequently, Thomas openly confides in his father about his proposal to Hope. He reveals Hope’s need for additional time and says he is willing to wait. Thomas declares his unwavering love for Hope and is confidence that she will, in due course, accept his proposal. He anticipates that the day she agrees to wear the ring which will make him the happiest man in the world.
After learning about the proposal, Ridge advises his son against pressuring Hope. Ridge expresses his pride in his son for making positive and healthy choices. In response, Thomas shares his appreciation for his father’s unwavering support. Ridge embraces his son and reassures him that if the relationship is meant to be, love will find its course.

Over at the cabin, Hope eagerly presents her mother the artwork created by Beth during today’s art class. Brooke admires the piece, particularly praising the beautiful colors. Acknowledging the challenges she is facing, Brooke suggests that Hope must be feeling a sense of happiness. Wondering if her mom is about to take another dig at Thomas, Hope advises her against it, expressing her reluctance to repeatedly defend their relationship. Nonetheless, Brooke questions Hope about the feasibility of a serious relationship with Thomas. She earnestly implores her daughter to openly share her true feelings.
Brooke expresses concern regarding the potential dangers of the situation. In a moment of candor, Hope reveals her apprehension about not feeling prepared for marriage. Brooke is taken aback upon learning of Thomas’s proposal and inquires about Hope’s response. She realizes that Hope is not wearing the ring on her finger. Realizing that Hope has not accepted the proposal, Brooke expresses relief. She refers to the sudden nature of the proposal and emphasizes that Hope is still coming to terms with the end of her marriage to Liam.

Brooke pleads with Hope to turn down the proposal, asserting that she cannot become Thomas’s wife.
