B&B Recap January 30, 2024: Today on The Bold and the Beautiful –Luna becomes suspicious of Poppy’s secrets. Brooke and Ridge are on opposing sides of the Thomas/Hope proposal.

Luna asks her mom once again if Bill is her father, but Poppy denies it. Luna becomes frustrated and threatens to find answers on her own. Fortunately, Finn interrupts them and they all catch up on each other’s lives. Finn invites them to dinner with him and Steffy and mentions that he’s trying to get his mom to back off. Later, RJ visits Forrester Creations to see Luna, who tells him about her conversation with her mom. Despite Poppy’s suspicious behavior, Luna decides not to hurt her mom and chooses to just let it go.
Brooke is at the cabin with Hope and is trying to convince her that Thomas is not the right person for her. She firmly believes that accepting his proposal would be the biggest mistake of her life. Brooke pleads with her daughter to return the ring to Thomas. However, Hope tells her mother that she genuinely cares about him and doesn’t know what else to say to make her understand. Brooke adds that she loves her and just wants her to be happy, but she doesn’t think that’s possible with Thomas.

Ridge compliments Thomas on the ring he showed him and tells him that it is absolutely beautiful. He adds that he loves the fact that Thomas wanted something and went after it. Thomas confesses that he was afraid that Ridge would think he had lost his sanity when he told him about the proposal. However, Ridge assures him that he loves what he is looking at. He also mentions that Hope must love him too, otherwise she would not be wearing it around her neck. Thomas expresses his concern that Brooke may not be happy about his proposal. But Ridge advises him not to worry about it for now. He believes that Brooke will not stand in their way, despite Thomas’s past.
Brooke Confronts Thomas
Later, Charlie finds Thomas in the CEO’s office. He wants to inform Ridge that Esther Valentine has completed her fitting. He claims to have run into her on the elevator by coincidence, but Thomas, thinks him being the head of security, should be aware of when a VIP arrives. Thomas then asks Charlie if he has a crush on Esther. Brooke interrupts them and requests to speak with Thomas alone. She reveals that she was with Hope at the cabin, and she knows that he proposed to her. Brooke asks what he was thinking.
Brooke claims she is just looking out for him but says him proposing to Hope is only setting himself up for heartbreak. While Hope may not have admitted, Brooke is convinced she won’t be able to fully commit to Thomas or give him the life that he wants.
Ridge visits Hope at her cabin. He mentions that Thomas informed him about the proposal and he came over to remind her of how remarkable his son is, even though he thinks she already knows that. Ridge also describes Hope as a remarkable young woman and expresses his happiness at the thought of her being his daughter-in-law.

Thomas visits the cabin and greets Hope with a kiss. He informs her that he had a conversation with Brooke regarding the proposal. Hope then shares that his father also visited and praised Thomas. Thomas expresses his belief that their relationship will continue to flourish, and that one day the ring will be on her finger.
